Ork Sneakyboss by Mordoten.

Ok guys, heres 2 pictures of my converted Sneakyboss for my Ork squad. I made some leaf-camouflage for him with greenstuff after seeing another model on this forum with the same thing. Awesome idea which i stole right away!

I'm not a good painter and really don't like to paint really. But having a unpainted squad to play with is even worse, so now i've decided to learn basic painting. Theres no highlights on the model, i haven't started doing that yet.

But feel free to give critisicm and comments!

PS. The Purple snake was put there because Purple is the gang colour of choice for this Squad. And i didn't want to ruin his clothing by painting it purple. Even an Ork gets that purple is not a sneaky colour...

Nice GS work on the leaves and the painting is way past basic. If you want a 'safe' way to highlight: Basecoat, then highlight, then wash (this tends to tone down any harsh highlighting and blend the colours)

Mordoten: The Sneaky Boss is my all time favorite unit. It is 100% original to Death Squads

, yet it is VERY 40k-ish! I had luck testing the 1st Sneaky Boss. You can read about him on this post. I like how yours is turning out... VERY good conversion.

I have a question... is that a snake in his pants? Just Kidding

So far the model is SUPERB! I would suggest to drill the barrel of the gun (its nothing major) and remember to base him when you are done. Thanks for sharing your work... if your first sample is any indication, we are in for a GREAT TREAT when we get to see your models! cheers

I freakin love it. My only suggestion would be to drill a small hole in the barrel of the gun.

The leaves are pure genius.

I think they are very well done, the whole sneaky bunch Smile

and right now I feel ashamed I haven't painted my whole squad yet, playing with colour is so much more fun.

(oh and the size and colour of the snake is about the same as mine... )
