| This is the new Death Squad im working on, I only have one model so far, but i ordered Imperial Guard Valhallan Squad, Which looks like this I'll might also need to buy one more to get the full amount. This will be my Commander, I've always loved this model but never had a reason to get him until now, he fits exactly what i want my Commander to look like. So here's a couple of pictures of him when i finished painting him. His name is Lester I'll start writing there background when I finish the book im reading about them called. Caves Of Ice by Sandy Mitchell. It's Also a Ciaphas Cain novel if your interested. | |

| Those are some NICE models. You did an EXCELLENT job with the Commissar Yarrick model. He is a hard model to pull off... you did him justice. You better, or he kick your bootie! | |

| Ha ha, I'm actually proud of my paint job on him. He is my favorite character in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe, But I never played Imperial Guard because it would cost a lot of money, But then came along DEATH SQUADS with all kinds of Imperial Guard Chapters to choose from. So i said why not make all the Imperial Guard Squads. At the same time it would be building up a Warhammer 40k army, even though i like Death Squads more people want me to play 40k with them so I guess I have to get one..Though my models will be all different in the army , Like ill have Catachans platoon then a Valhallans platoon, but i guess that will be different and i think really cool. And @dwi I'm not going to use those characters as people in my Squad because i want to make my own ones up but at the same time my squad characters will be doing missions for Cain, so all in all i'm not using him but he will be a big part in my story line. | |

| Really nice work with Comissar Yarrick - he's a very tricky model to paint (I painted him about 6 months ago for an IG player I know - took me a week!). The details on him are tricky to pick out and you've clearly spent the time on him to get it done that well. Good job! Ciaphas Cain is probably my favourite 40k novel character (The other is Matthias Thulmann - but he's Fantasy) - he's a brilliant literary creation in his own right. The Lord Comissar model (with a weapon swap or two) would make a decent older Ciaphas. Do the Valhallans have a meltagun guardsmen? - Jurgen always has one if I remember right. Cheers Laney | |

| @laney for the melta gun question, do u mean does a Valhallan model have one or in the book. If you mean in the models yes they have one, but im not sure in the book i haven't gotten far enough, i just started reading it last night. | |

| Great work on Lester the claw looks great (though how he could fight with it I'm unsure ). It will be interesting to see how you paint the valhallans I've only seen pictures on G.W.s website. How are you planning on painting them? | |
