new to the game, new to the forum. Just downloaded the LRB, about to read it.
I like the premise - it's what I feel 40k should probably be, though that's just my opinion. I've been looking for something like this for some time now. Necromunda isn't the same, inquisitor isn't the same... death squads sound really promising, and I hope to have a lot of fun playing it with my buddies... if I can convince them to play it.
Anyway, just just dropping in to say hi and thanks for doing this project. Volunteer (hard) work and not getting paid for it. You guys are fantastic already!

Get your mates involved, they will love it! When you do, play some games, post some pics, give us some feedback and help make the game better. But most of all enjoy playing!

I was in the same boat with my friends. We play whenever we get the chance now (Which is not nearly enough).
Great group of guys here with lots of passion for the game. They work very hard to make sure it flows well and doesn't get bogged down by superflous nonsense.
Have fun playing

Welcome to the Death Squads Forum Board.
This game is for YOU and YOUR friends to play, enjoy, comment on, and get involved with.
Alot of hard work has gone into this game from each level....the designers, contributors and the players themselves.
We each have different views and ways we look at things its this melting pot of ideas that has lead this game to be what it is today.
[not to mention many many many oh and many hours of brain storming, bouncing ideas etc..... Ask Mord how long he and I worked on the Warp Entities.... but what came out of that was worth the hard work....]
Play games, post pics, write up a battle report..... let us know what concerns you have with the rules, issues in game, etc.....
Also don't print the current rules as we are working on the latest version at the moment....Alot of the issues picked up by the players have been addressed in the new version.
Glad you found us and please let us know if we can do anything for you to help your Death Squads experience.

Welcome Home, Battle Brother!
I hope your trip through the Warp was not as bad as it usually is... and that you and your friends enjoy Death Squads as much as we do! As the guys said VERY well, we all have few things in common... no matter what, we all love 40k's stories and sense of the Universe. We like making our own stories, and
will allow you to do so. We continue to work hard fixing few issues we have discovered for TLRB v0.6.0... and once it is released, I think you and your friend will enjoy it. With the new Squads, you will have even MORE choices to play.
is also YOUR game! Post your battle reports and pics (
I love PICS!) of your models! Suggestions and corrections are MORE than welcomed. We aim for quality over quantity... so we all can enjoy the game. Our community aims to be MORE than just for Death Squads; feel free to share your 40k adventures, as well as your other gaming particulars.
All in all, we are here for you! Enjoy Death Squads... and don't be a stranger!
