Hi Guys,

Here is my list for the new Green Devils Kommandos (I've also added to their fluff - feedback welcome).

Da Green Devil Kommandos (Fluff)
Shank Riprot was a young ork from a minor sub-clan of the Kunnin' Blood Axes called the Da Green Devils. When he sprouted from a spore on the once paradise world of Vagbadd (Imperial Designation: Paragon VII Ref. M4162AEI). Two things struck the warbosses of the Waaagh! that had ravaged the planet and threatened nearby imperial systems... He had very dark and mottled skin (Is almos' da Morks camo on dis uns skin!), indicating he was blessed by Mork, yet he seemed a bit 'weedy' by orkish standards.

The young Shank showed he had a particularly 'Morkish' mind (Imperial Ref Ork235HD43 OrdoXenos: Morkish: To be cunning and unlike most ork 'boyz'). Shank was a master of 'Da boot in ur jubblies' and 'Da cutta's smile'. He constantly made up for his physical weakness with rapid reflexes, earning him the derisive nickname Mork's Grot. Then the Imperium stepped in and changed everything...

Inquisitor Lord Felix Nemeia of the Ordo Xenos ordered the Death World of Paragon VII (Redesignated: Parasiticus II) to undergo exterminatus viral bombing with life eater type virus bombs. In the thousands of years since the virus bombs had been created the mutating influences of the Warp had changed their purpose and the one that killed millions of orks around the Shanks hovel had a different effect on his physiology, Mork blessing him with a tumour growth on his brain, stimulating unparalleled physical growth and twisting his mind towards even more Kunnin' ways.

Shank wandered the devoured, desolate world coming across a few more of Morks Blessed, including a young painboy called Dok Hak Stitchflesh who removed the tumour from the young nobs brain. Continuing on his journey to the nearest spaceport of Nu Ork Nu Ork, he also came across a wandering weirdboy, Magbad MorWaagh who claimed that 'E is da blessed of Mork, 'E is da kunninest' and a vicious sneaky boss called Snaga Skarfang, who added his Kommandos to the warband.

In a dream Mork spoke to him... 'U gotta get off dis planet' and so in a heavily modified Kill Kroozer 'Da Umie Deff' Kaptin Riprot and his warband headed out, pointing the Kroozer in the direction of the Hiveworld of Varangia, a place where destinies and Waaagh! would be forged.

Da Next Chapta...
Riprot looked around at the remnants of his once proud Waaagh! A force, which had brought the Hive World of Varangia Alpha to its knees and sowed destruction across the world, now left in pieces. The cursed Fairy Eldar had stuck their oar in and messed up his plans for creating a shrine to Waaagh! that could maybe match Armageddon itself. His weirdboy Morwaagh had died at the hands of the Eldar's own Weirdboy - a Waagh-Lok they called him (though Da Grapevin had said he met his own end at the hands of some Umie called 'Deadeye' - RipRot thought on how he would like to meet that Umie and rip his lungs out from his chest).

Skarfang his Sneaky Boss still stood, though most of his skin was now a patchwork of scars and his right arm had been replaced with one taken from the body of another Sneaky Boss he'd come across. That boss had shown an ability to kill Umie's at a distance - a useful trait that Skarfang wanted to keep - Dok Stitchflesh had done the rest.

A shaking, clanking sound echoed behind Riprot. The Boss turned to see his faithful little grot Rippa, who had now been strapped into a trash kan towards the end of the last Waaagh! as a reward for his survival against the cursed Varang Umie's and Speys Fairies. He would sow terror amongst their enemies in this new Waaagh!.

Ork Spores were cropping up with great regularity across the hiveworld as the planets jetstream spread them far and wide. One such spore had landed not far for where Riprot and his mob now hid licking their wounds. They had found the perfect base in the wrecked underhive of the Hive City Kolkhis. A twisted creature, hugely muscle on its upper body with skinny, weak legs burst forth from the spore, crackling at every step with Waaagh! energy. The creature crept into the night, walking on its hands like a beast and killing so many of the local Umie's that they thought a Daemon of the Warp now stalked them. Mork had sent Shank a blessing with this young Feral Weirdboy, Werzgrot da Twisded, who'd joined them, a true prophet of a new Waaagh!.

Da time for Waaagh! Dakka Dakka! Waaaaaaagh! had come, but they'd best be sneakier about it than last time (Mork said so in Shanks 'ead when 'e slept)...

AMAZING!!! Nu Ork Nu Ork cracked me up! Your writing is incredible! You have managed to move AWAY from the conventional 'bad guy' and breath life to your Orks. WHAT A TWIST!!!

This is EXACTLY what Death Squads is all about! Making great stories. I can only say I used to like the Varangians... now I root for Da Green Devils!!!

If you change choppas for clubs you get 65 credits , enought for 2 ork boyz with clubs ,for change slugar for blasta or some grots with long range guns.

Think that now, every squad can start with St4 weapons, every one can start with hevay stubber and eldar can start with catapults, so you will meet a lot of shoots with st4 since the first game, so you will lose many orks, so you need a lot of orks to aproach the enemy.

The trash kan??, no.... at least until you can buy a good armour for it. Now, IG (or similar) with 2 heavy stubbers or a group of eldars with catapults can take it down easily.

Think that your komandos can infiltrate, yes, but wherever you put it they will find St4 weapons so if your komandos shoot or run they will have seriuos problems.

Da cuning?? i understand that if you dont roll 4+ you loose the sneaky and his komandos for that game, is it?? so isnt soo good.

I think now the only tactic for ork is get a lot of ork with cheap hth weapons, hevaly armoured officers with hth weapons, some flamers to clean the way, and a sneaky boss with a heavy stubber (when he can get skill heavy weapons) and a couple of grots with riffles as sniper triyng to take out enemy heaviest weapons. And walk and hide until you are in charge range.

Based on the Skill...

• Da Cunnin’: The Sneaky Boss has learned ways to join the fight from behind enemy lines; they range from tunneling underground to being launched from giant-catapults, from being propelled by single use rokkits to being dropped from orbit! The Sneaky Boss with this Skill may choose to remain in Reserves (not deployed at the beginning of the game) along with D3 Kommandoz and attempt to enter the battle via Deep Strike. After Turn 2, the Orks could enter the battle (following Deep Strike rules) on a 4+. Remember: this is a risky maneuver and the Sneaky Boss does not have to enter the battle on this fashion if he doesn't see an advantage to it... but once you declare you will do so, there is no turning back! Sneaky Boss only.


It means that you need 4+ to enter... you fail, you try next Turn and next Turn until you make it. If you NEVER succeed, then you don't use them.



Also, you under-estimate the value of the Choppa. I wrote something on the Ork Tactic thread.

Stories and fluff add a lot to the game. Your stories remind me of Mordheimers in his white waaagh!

Don't forget to upgrade the list to a 750 point list after 0.6.0 now allows it.

@ Da Bank: I loved the albino (I was very tempted to just plagiarise the idea!). So there is probably a heavy influence there.

@ Dysturbed: I thought I had gone to 750 - I'll check my numbers. I had 746 (so I upgraded a slugga 22 to a blasta 26 - always useful!)
