the creating of a warpmaster

before god made man there where the eldar, a race that thrived in numbers a pure race forged from stars.
each man/woman a peacful person with no sense of rebelion in them, this is the way the eldar were, but that all changed when something rose from the sand and the merky waters of the huntan kemtar the second planet in the solar sytem of ektun, a thing wraped in cloth and floated above the ground.
the eldar thought nothing of it untill one day it moved into one of the main cities and changed many eldar into a vile creatur we call heretics this was the birth of the chaos marines, someone new they had to do something but no one had anything that could stop the beast, but a man steped before the eldar race and said "i am pure i can stop it" the eldar laughed at him but they did not know who he was, kafan delah was his name a name that liveson today in the eldar teachings, what did he do?

one day he snuck into the heretic city and followed the thing, it took 5 heretics with it to a forest where two trees fromed a arch of horror, the thing walked through the arch and returned in 10 minuets, kafan delah wonderd what it was the thing had gone into, after the thing had left the jungle kefan stepped through the arch and was teleported into another relm this is what we call the warp, kafan returned after seeing thousands of these beasts and realised he must do something quickly.

kafan decided he would travel to a different star, he did this through teleporting, he seeked out something he sore in a dream a golden temple that reached for the heavens, he found it but he did not know what to do, he found a book, named yectar de lonk far me la, he read it from coover to cover and his mind changed he felt a power flowing inside his head, he then hear voice saying you know have the power of mind use it to save your people, kafan said "but how do i do this" there was no reply.

kafan teleported back to his homeworld, he waited days upon days for the beast, constantly thinking constantly dreaming, what was the power he had gained he knew it was the mind but what did it do? later that day the thing returned to the arch and entered, followed by kafan who faced the beast in the warp, kafan know realised that his powers would destroy the beast and seal the warp, that is what he did, he left the warp, and shouted "psyker, im a pysker" a new word a new person had been made.

kafan returned to the heretic city but the curse was lifted and the eldar were peaceful again, he then returned to the capitol where he was given a title, that title was the warpmaster, and from that day fourth it has been selected men/women who have been sent to this temple to read the book, it is there duty to stop these beasts from destroying the world, the only way to do this is to planet hop and secure the warps.

that was the birth of the pysker, the warpmaster, the tale of kafan delah, and this story is what the eldar are tought by.

no one nows the true origin of this tale but what we do know is that the planet book and the temple exists the way the psykers are selected is the same way kafan was through his mind, imagination, and thought, through a dream.

Great Start! Keep it going.

Nice. It started to draw me in until the mention of the Chaos Marines... You see, the term "Heretic" in 40k refers to all humans who do not follow the God-Emperor, usually associate with Chaos. When the Eldar were a prosperous infant race, humanity was not even in a primordial-ooze... so there was no Emperor to create the Astartes, no sending of the initial 12 to the far corners of space, no search for the 12 lost children of the Emperor, no reunion, no conquest of the galaxy, no seclusion of the Emperor on Terra, no leaving Horus as the Warmaster in charge of humanity's best, no betrayal, no Horus Heresy, no war, no Chaos Marines.

You can set ANY story on the early Eldar history, because is shed in mystery... but I don't suggest to mix the Eldar with Chaos Marines, because you disfranchise yourself from 40k and loose power.

Other than that... I like the concept of a corrupt Eldar entity, way back before Slanessh !

We at looked at them a long long time ago (dark eldar) but held off due to a rumored in Codex and this still being rumored for this year. LOL.

I can't see them changing a lot but a few newer molds of currently defined plastics will come out with some juiced up rules.

Hi im new, just an idea I thought that may help. This dark entity could be a fragment of one of the remaining C'tan, awake during the golden age of the eldar. Either before or after the War of the Heavens where Khaine is destroyed.
