Well not clearly DS topic but can be used by many.
So. As we have some great, experience painters on our forum i would like to ask You how to shade large flat surfaces as vehicle hulls and bunkers an so on. no complicated masonry to owerwash. just some straight plate joints and rivets.
And i must admit im sworn enemy of drybrushing. I dont like it and dont want it. Lining isnt also what im serching and layering would kill me with my shaking hands
So washes. I tried pigment varnish [qs] but when it is a blast for minis its to tick for large surfaces and while from afar it looks bearable when ypu go closer you see details eaten by varnish and ugly triangle filed corners.
So not varnishes but washes.
And my question is how to make and how to use?
how to break surface forces in wash to put it evenly on model. How to make own washes to match colors on model. All toughs and advieces about washes would be welcome as im newbe to washes and hate to redo models to fix my mistakes to much.
