Excellent find Deafnala!! That is a great value as it seems it cost $4 a model or more for GW. Again, I love GW but their costing is keeping more people from playing. Most of my IG Variants are AT-43 (Urban Fighters, Catachans, and Ice Warriors)

I can wait got heaps of projects still to finish before I can get them.

@LGW: I can identify. You wouldn't believe the number of minis I have in backlog...I know I don't . Fortunately, War Games Factory looks to be around for some time to come, AND The War Store prices are their normal prices...this isn't a sale. BTW The War Store gives a 20% discount on G.W products as well.

@edward: yep, prices are in US$...is that good? AND from what I can gather they match up with G.W. fairly well.

I pre ordered several sets of these months ago and still have not heard any word as to when or if they are shipping. If I were you, I'd wait to see if these will actually materialize.

OK. I just got my box of goodies in for the shock troops and here are my first impressions. First of all, the promotional pictures do not do these models justice. The model sculpts are way NICER, SHARPER, and CLEANER than I expected. These are very detailed models. I was surprised that they are smaller than they look in the pictures also. On the bad side, you only get three body sculpts in the whole package. There are tons of bits and more to go around to make your squad unique, but the variety isn't there. Also, they do not come with separate bases. The bases are incorporated into the model like plastic army men. You can add them onto regular bases easily enough. You can definitely incorporate these guys into any IG army. I plan on having plenty of fun with this box and can't wait for more to come out of this company. You get 6 identical sprues per box that will make three models each with almost an unlimited amount of customization, especially with a box of Imperial Guard bits left over.
