Hey all, just wanted to share this with you.
My youngest, Ignace, just started building up a Warriors of Chaos army and yesterday he painted his first miniatures.
He's already had some practice on his paintingskills on an Ork army and a Space Marine force but this time he really wanted to make the most of it.
We came up with a simple but effective colourscheme with a minimum of paints for wich he chose the colours.
Granted, I gave him some help on the finer details and a good deal of explaining on how to basecoat, drybrush, etc... but he did most of the work himself.

Dunno what you all think but I find it's not a shabby job for a 12 year old  Cool

Very solid regardless of his age! The colour scheme works really well. In particular, the cloaks are impressive, as are the little details (skulls, rope etc)and light years ahead of my first efforts and some of my current stuff too!. Does the armour have a bronze/brass tint? The basing is perfect for fantasy - effective, but easy to replicate.

Really good and they'll look ace on the battlefield next to their kin.

The banner could possibly take a thin wash/shade on the rope and the top and the banner itself, with a little tidying on the chaos star, but that is real nitpicking (hopefully in a constructive way Very Happy ).

Cheers Laney (definitely hoping to see more)

Very nice. The solid basing really helps to complete the models.

Thanks for all the nice comments, he really appreciates it  Smile
He has finished 5 more since saturday but he wants to wait untill all 15 warriors and the Lord are done to show them.
Next he's planning on getting a unit of Knights so he has a small 500 point army to play with.
