Haha thanks! But no need to be so humble because you have sweet conversion skills that not everyone possess! And a good conversion is half the work of an awesome model so I shouldn't worry about that if I were you!

Well, LGW... your kit bashing keeps improving (now the proportions are VERY nice) and your painting skills keep sky-rocketing. Those Warmachine models (all washed and glazed) are very cool! I'm dying to see the painted Prisoner!!!!

lol I need to wait till next week to get some more bitz and pieces for the base.

Its going to get bigger now that I have added in more stuff/minis/bitz/and bobs...

its been awhile busy with work doing extra shifts etc etc.

So here is an update... only thing holding me back is the base and finding time to get it done. I keep on adding stuff.

Things to do:
1] undercoat base
2] smear putty all over the foam board
3] add colour to base
4] paint dead chaos marines
5] Paint Chaos lord and his pet [and figure out where the Chaos Lord GOES!!!!!]
6] add in "water effect" once base has been dry brushed and dead marines painted and added to base.
7] let water effect dry
8] add more water effect if required
9] assemble finished Prisoner" and take pics
10] write some fluff

I guess I better get busy....

Holy crap this is the most awesome thing ever! Good things truely do come to those who wait. I'll need to clear a whole section of my flat to put this in. I reckon my wife's cookery books can go in the cupboard and I'll take that shelf!

I thought My base was small in comparison to some of the projects out there.

just finished adding in the plaster waiting for it to dry so I can undercoat.
Once I have it painted and dry brushed I'll try my hand at using "water Effect" that should be fun...

Not sure what colour to make the water.... Blue? Red? a murky brown?

well I have done some more work on the base actually did my first attempt at water effect and it failed but I am hoping I can use some Ghost busters II
inspired "slim" feel to it.

time will tell.

ok I am almost done just waiting for the last bitz and pieces to dry and I can start to pack it up and send it out.

Will also write up my story for him tomorrow, get some things printed off take some pics etc etc.

then hopefully post him out on Monday.

Its taken me ages to get it done so glad its over....
