New rumor is the new box set will have 20 cultists in it.
half with lasrifles and half with something else
These will include a "leader" too for each group.

Might have to scoop some of these up on ebay since people divide them up all the time on there now.

Can't wait to see the sculpts though.

The box set will definitely be worth the effort if this is true!

Rumors on Warseer.com is that the boxset will be split in twos, so one for DA and one for Chaos..
If this i true im gonne get the Chaos, just for the Cultists (funny enough, im probaly gonna use them as renegades) and the templaes (still dont got them)

OK, first match, tau vs orcs, in VP i lost 9 to 10, in points i think it was sth. about 14-6 for me.
As for first game in 6th, i could say i was a lot of fun, personal and strategic traits have have pretty big influence on the play; mine allowed do outflank commander with TL flamers, my opponent have "add 1' to charge distance", missions are varied, things called "mysterious markings" are awesome (roll k6 when taking objective token, results from explosion [it's a trap!] to skyfire rule for whole unit), in a moment can change a lot durin play- turn after anemy DakkaJet come into play my FireWarriors claim objective and gained skyfire... in 15' range they glanced him to death.
Also various charge range was fun for both sides- 30 boys, ab. 5 inches away from pathfinders, decided to charge 3 inches... on the other hand four-arm Deffdread charging 11 inches to my Firewarriors was really scary...
I could say new ed. bring much more fun and randomness

Sounds indeed like fun! What are your thoughts about the wounding allocation? I've heard they've changed that as well and that people aren't happy about it because it's now better to put your characters more behind in the unit.

If Gatlag is correct... then is a GOOD thing. I mean, weight the risk of having your ubber fighter in front to do massive damage vs risking him getting killed.

Smile that's a lot of advantage if You're flanking or attacking a unit from behind, also characters on roll to hit on 6's can choose a model they want to target.
that's a lot of disadvantage for units with mixed armoury, because if you put your flamer up fron it'll die first. Byt if you'll keep it behind it won't hit..
