Ratz!?!?!?

My inspiration project already has paid of! While I was busy with the spawn I got ideas for other projects.
I'm still planning to build a few "introductionary" squads to get my friends into DS. 2 squads I already have covered for the biggest part with my 40K IG and Lost and the Damned troops. Will post pics of them later (guess you want to see 'em )

But now the first models of my new squad!
I'm going to make a rat like/mutant squad; hence the name "Ratz!?!", because that's how the common people talk about them. These fellows live in the city sewers of the same planet as The Regulars. I will mostly build them ratlike, but here and there I will vary the model where my inspiration wants to. I think I'm going to use the Orkz squad for the rules but I'm not sure yet. Any ideas on this? I could use some help/advice so please tell me!

I would still use the IR Squad for a base. You get cheap Units; Workers as minor/weaker Ratz... Mutant Sergeants for HUGE Ratz... In game terms, you won't need many 'powerful' weapons but you can max the Squad size quickly with cheap troops. You get bonuses getting cash at the end of the game, so replacing cheap troops is a snap.

I don't see Space Skaven (hehehe... sorry, Ratz!) being Tough like Orks... but weak and numerous as the IR. The Officers and Mutants will give you PLENTY of room for craziness. OHHHH!!! And you can get a Rat-Ogre for your Renegade Ogryn. DUDE!!! You are set!

Thanks Mord for the advice. I didn't thought of an IR squad because the Regulars are already one so I wanted a different one. I did think about an ogre like model already. Based on the Trash-Kan, I'd call him the Trashman or so.
I'm going to think about which squad further now...
