| OK i have gone over the rules a number of times and still cant make my mind up.
Can i get some suggestions for a Kroot Squad, im undecided on which evolutionary path ill take so im open to anything.
So far i have began modelling a Mashkawisi (from a Savage orc big un) and a Shaman

| The easiest way... WRITE a background story for your Squad. FORGET THE RULES. What is their mission? Name the leader and determine why/how he selected his Officers. After that, make a short 'mission' for them. After you are done (feel free to post it! ) then figure out in which UEP they fit. After that, apply the rules and play. | |

| I always ran with a regular kroot squad with the flyers. There is nothing more fun than watching your bird kroot getting shot of the air. | |

| What Mord said.
But also look at what you enjoy playing. Close combat? Ranged? That has a big part in it, too.

| Never played kroot, but I personally love being sneaky - so it will be sneaky kroot if I ever do any! As the guys said - what do you want to play the kroot as?

| I made a starting squad, but its a my house, in on vacation now, so going by memory, also using my GFs phone.
I would start something like: Shaper w. Kroot rifle w. Upgrade (+1s or once-pr-game ap3) Headhunter x2 w. Kroot rifle Sneaky guy (forgot name) w. Kroot pistol Skaman w. Nothing first game
For recruits i think something like, but not sure: 3-4 hounds 3 kroot w. Kroot rifle 3 kroot w. Club
Think in comes at abort 750, but when i get home, i will check and post proper squad.

| So Im back from vacation and back at work This is what I had planed, if I ever make a Kroot. Personaly I would play as Anghkor, becourse I like the Strengh skill (but is sad that the Shaper dont get S skills) Shaper [68] Kroot Rifle [free] Upgrade: (+1s or once-pr-game ap3) [10] (dont remember names, would probaly pick S bonus, but if aginst Cultist, might the other)Reduced Flak [18] Headhunter [57] Kroot Rifle [27] Headhunter [57] Kroot Rifle [27] Shaman [60] I would leve him without weapons first game, but ocf he should get a weapon after first gameStalker [61] Kroot Pistol [22] Sholud get a second handweapon asap, (sword)Hounds * 4 [68] Carnivors * 3 [93] Kroot Rifle * 3 [81] Carnivors * 3 [93] Club * 3 [15] All (execpt hounds ofc get free Combat Knifes) The good thing about this is that you start with the max number of models. Total 750 credits. When choosing evolutionary paths you got to ask you self a few questions: Is the Phanlax / vultures important ? Do I like sneaky / Strengh skills ? And so on... That is for me the best way to find the right path. Like I said, I like the Strenght skills. Hope this is helpfull -Skavenslayer | |
