| Most of you probably have already seen the first model in progress for my Introductionairy Chaos Cultists Squad in the Regulars thread. The responses were enthusiastic and most important of all it seemed to inspire Mordheimer to do work for TLRB! So can only do one thing to make the man do his work: paint more! It sure has been a very long time since I've put together 8 models in one evening and even primered them! Luckily these snap-fit baddies were pretty fast to assemble. All I had to do was mouldline scraping and I really hate that! It was alos hard for me to assemble these guys without any conversion work, I hardly ever do that. But since this is an introductionairy squad which has to be ready soon this was for this best. I only did a head swapn on the knife guy so far. But nonetheless the models look great, these are some of the best models of GW so far I think! Enough blabbering, here they are: Hope to keep up the pace and post some new pics soon! | |

| Very nice. I am looking forward to seeing these painted. I have a squad sitting on my table waiting for paint. I just want to figure out how to airbrush most of them first :-). | |

Indeed a slapping is well deserved here... These are the Cultists from the Dark Vengeance boxed set, some of the best GW models yet. Even though they are snap-fit. - Narcissus wrote:

Airbrushing will probably look better than I can achieve! Smoother finish and more even coverage. I haven't thought about the colors yet, but that's good in this case. Because since it's a chaos squad I've decided to grab each color which suits my mood at the moment when painting. Will pay attention to "right" colorschemes though, so no striking scorpion combined with ice blue or so but I hope to use some colors that I don't use that much normally. - Corintus wrote:

There's not much to define yet since I haven't got a squad list yet. This will be one of my introductionairy squads which, hopefully, will be played by one of my friends. So I could use some help on a basic "one size fits all" squad list. Are those "sample squads" ready yet? They only guy who's different now is the Flamer dude so the list will have to include him. I haven't got a boss model yet, want to some conversion work on him. - Komfritten wrote:

I mostly try to take my pics in a more "cinematic" kind of way and lately my lightning while taking them has improved. But there's always room for more improvement! Cool! Have you already received the stuff I've sent you? That could serve you in your projects I guess.

| I did post something of a tactica in this Squad Lists forum (I think). Still very much incomplete, I would welcome your experiences with the Cultist list.
I'm going to go and try to get my hands on some of those Cultists myself. Along with my current FW renegades and a spare marine, they will make a cool squad. Slaanesh, baby!

No, not in this one, the list was made before I played my first game.. Remove G. Launcher + nades, but Flamer. Remove Vox-caster, buy club for the Cultist. Use remaning to buy clubs for Asp. Champs or upgrade Chosens weapons. There you go, quick fix -Skavenslayer

| Small update, but just to let you guys know I'm still on it! All got some of their basecolor, batch painting seems slow but when I'm done I'll have 8 finished models instead of just one. So I'll hold on to that! The dark guy has had a second layer but he's really hard to get into focus with my iphone. Any tricks for that? | |

| Get a Samsung? j/k if I could trade my Galaxy S in for an iPhone 4, I would do it in a heartbeat. Looking good mate! I've got my own batch of Cultists coming in from eBay. They will be going the way of Slaanesh... | |

Looking good mate! I've got my own batch of Cultists coming in from eBay. They will be going the way of Slaanesh... Haha, I'm pretty satisfied with the pics my 4S takes! Only that dark guy gives me problems... (hmmm how would that sound to an outsider who doesn't know I'm talking about minis? )
Sweet! Curious how those will turn out! I will keep mine "undivided" so my friend who's going to play them can decide if he goes for a God or not.
