Awesome Ogryn conversion guide

For years, I've had a squad of Ogre Bulls sitting on my shelf. I bought them years ago on impulse, because I liked the models so much. I thought I'd use them for 40k Ogryns. That never happened and these days I don't actually play 40k anymore.

Bring along Death Squads! Turns out my Cadian squad needs an Ogryn to face off with Telruna's beastly Kroot. I pulled an Ogre from the shelf and starting Googling for ideas. Found this awesome PDF.

With those tips in mind, I had a go at my Ogre. I added a harness (I'm planning on sticking some armor plates on there), filled up the shoes with GS (no pointy shoes in the Guard, boy!) and I sliced up an Autocannon to serve as ripper gun.




I plan on adding some random knives and maybe some kind of cybernetic implant on the head.

What do you guys think?

Very nice greenstuff work. I really like that guide and wish GW did more like that. My only suggestion would be to file down the points on the shoes so they are rounded or just cut it off and greenstuff a toe cap on the end. This should look really good when painted up. Maybe he can even take out the dreaded Sturmm.

Nice looking little chap ain't he? Looks like the actor from "Machete". Really good work with the green stuff. I myself find it hard to work with it. But then again: my hands are mutated. Sergeant Barbies hooters look like balloons (model has yet to be introduced) though Sturmm doesn't seem to mind ...

Ehmm... No! There will be no taking out Sturmm. I will not allow it! Anyway, we'll have to see how he's doing against Telruna's Kroots (Space Chickens?) first. Tomorrow I believe.

Sturmm will have another shot at Rapier Squad on november 23 if all goes well.
