If it's not too much it'd like some extra time. I had some serious misfortune in my private life and although I did some work on the model I couldn't really focus on it.

You know that this pushes Prisoners Exchange one month away? Smile I am looking forward to see kitbashed stuff, but the Exchange is something most of us is waiting for for half a year Wink (Just saying, didn't mean to be rude or something (which is how this could "sound"))

@Lazi

as far as I was aware no actual day had been planed for the Prisoner exchange plus this event has been going for a bit now as no one was doing anything regarding the exchange.

I see no reason why the two could not be done at the same time. hope this doesn't come across as being rude.

I am not sure if it was in this thread or in PE13 thread, but someone said we will wait with PE till Kit Bash Challenge ends. I just got sentence that stuck in my mind. I might do a search tomorrow and find the particular post Wink

Well, now that I'm back... heheheh... the Prisoner's Exchange will take place, but AFTER the Kit Bash Challenge.

Lord Greywolf spent lots of time and energy organizing this for everyone. Take advantage of it and have fun!

We will worry about PE 2013 in due time. Wink

Well I'm glad of the extension. I've just built another character (and Inquisitorial Warrior Acolyte this time) and I'd love to get him painted up (He's a mix of IG and chaos cultist parts).
Very excited about the Prisoner Exchange too (It will get me back into painting properly again)

And thank you for reminding me

Its been hectic here with Lady Grey's Nana's unveiling [she passed away about a year ago.] to shift work for me and many other things.

I here by close this competition and request all participants to leave a link in here of their finished mini. or if they could post a pic of it here....

I'll give you a few days to get this done then I'll start the judging.

What do you mean with 'unveiling' exactly? I've tried to look it up but can't quite get my head around it. Has it something to do with putting stone on one's tomb?
In any case I didn't want to hurry you, real life business is always more important.
Anyways here's my entry

your correct an unveiling is usually where they unveil the Head stone but considering she was cremated they had a "Family gathering" to mark the occasion and to help Popa out....

The kids had loads of fun, while I was at work. It was a logistic nightmare getting Lady Grey and the Wolflings to her Popa's place as he lives about 2 and a half hours drive away from where we are. So with the help of my Brother inlaw we got it sorted.

I'll go through your post this afternoon once I have had my sleep [got night shift tonight]

looking nice from what I've seen so far.

Ah ok, thanks for explaining it. It's one of those words I don't come across very much and didn't learn at school in the days (or did and forgot it).
It sounds like a nice tradition to remember the loved one who has passed away. Because a funeral or cremation is more common but after that it seems like everyone has to go one with their lives and the deceased is forgotten quickly. In this way you're standing still to remember the loss after a year. I don't think we do that here or at least not that I know of.
Must indeed have been a pretty hectic time, my condolences and I hope you had a good rembrance.

I'm guessing nothing is really happening in regards to the kitbash challenge.

Regardless, here's my entry, which I originally completed and submitted for the 7th february deadline.

I know the deadline was extended, but I didn't really have the heart to do any more work. I'm grateful the challenge was issued - it helped spur me to get some hobby stuff done over christmas - but I do find it disappointing that the whole thing just kind of...fizzled out.

Hey ho.

Hey LGW-I've been pretty distracted from 40k lately but I have a hankering to paint something up. If I paint something in the next 24 hours can I enter it (not to win, just to contribute)?
