Hello from Canada

Hi all,

I've lurked a bit and forgotton I'd even signed on after a system crash but after forgetting about the site and project I recently discovered another link while hobby blog hopping (I think that's how I found it in the first place). Death Squads looks more entertaining than 40k as I'm more a modeller/painter than gamer and get quite attached to my little plastic men. The other problem is I usually switch projects after a couple squads because I get bored with repainting the same scheme over and over again. I really enjoy the WIP/painting thread and the prisoner exchange project is really cool(disappointed I missed that Sad

).

Presently I'm working on an Inquisitor's band (read Pariah, rereading Eisenhorn again) because I was lurking on some Inq28 projects that made me jealous. Unfortunately there isn't an Inquisition specialists death squad but I've been thinking about trying to design a guard unit that I like and would stick with. I've grazed the LRB and hope to convince some locals to give it a go. Even if I can't get a group started here I'd still like to get involved in the modelling forum.

Glad you made it.

AS you noted there are many wonderful aspects of this game. Playing, painting, crafting, designing and etc. It is a good and fun goup of DS people on the forums.

Post some pics of models you have.

Welcome to Death Squads! Painting and modelling individual models, that's what it's all about. DS is somewhere in between 40k and Inquisitor. Most of us are the same like you: we enjoy switching projects, painting different stuff and giving extra special attention to our models.

We do definitely need an Inquisitor squad. Right now DS is preparing for a large rule overhaul, though. Don't let that stop you from playing, though: we need your feedback to improve the rules!

Other squads in the pipeline are Tau and Space Marine Scouts. But who knows? Play the game, give us feedback, come up with ideas... maybe you can make the Inquisitor Squad possible in time.
