If necessary, I'll split these out to different threads, but here's a group I plan to submit for PE13: Energy.

These are Blancmange and Scarface. The third is still unnamed.

Only one photo per post? I don't know what happened.

I present Scarface.

...or not. Rolling Eyes

Well, here are direct links to the images for those who want to see. The last one is just the collection of bits, so may not be worth the time.

I thought it might be post count.

The Big Red Bull shouldn't be confused with the Big Red One.

Yep.

I just noticed that Arachas edited my post to make the images visible in-thread. Thank you!

Update: The heavy blaster has made a bit of progress. Still needs putty in places and a few more detaily add-ons but you can see where he's going. This is a Trollforge body, GW head, Mordheim crossbow arms, 40k terrain piece - a comm spire from the bastion, maybe.

Looking good.

How do you find the trollforged bodies? Is it their new troll plastic-resin?

They're ok. A couple of years back, as I was cutting my teeth so to speak with putty, having the bodies was an easy way to progress quickly with a project and have it look better than if I did it all on my own. To that end they were great. I even gave some to my sons to work with at the same time.

Now, the remainders are more for funky, exploratory projects. I do like them and will get myself more at some point since I only have a few left. They're fun.

This is the old, hard resin. I actually prefer it to the new stuff. I find the softer material is too difficult to get completely clean at the parting line. I end up obsessing for an hour over a single miniature because I can't be sure nothing will show up after I've primed it. I have more than a dozen minis sitting neglected for that reason.

Here's one. Three Prisoners Cultist-Game-Piece-170310704 ... not working again according to the preview, so here's the url. (I just looked through all 16 pages of the dA gallery and they're not there, so don't bother looking that way. There are a few minis, sculpted by me and purchased, but not more than 6 or 7.)

The full group is on photobucket here: Three Prisoners IMG_0049
