| This is Private George Michael... the very first flamer guy. I painted that guy for Da Bank back in September 2008, when it was just the two of us playing and making each other laugh. Good times! He made the model using some Elysian (Forgeworld resin) and Cadian (GW plastic) parts and I begged him to let me paint it. George Michael died in an explosion on the line of duty... RIP! He was replaced by Private Liberace, who had a flamer capable of being seen from Outer Space. Enjoy! | |

| Striking Model - especially in the quality scenery. Nice detail work on the shoulder pad (you did paint the skull didn't you? - I can't tell if its paint or a decal) and I love the dynamic of the model - good call combining the cadian flamer with the elysian (has a really sleek feel overall). Very natural looking camo work too. Just needs a flame effect coming from the weapon (the brands from the empire flagellants make great flames for these - perfect fit - I'll post my flamer for the Varangians when I'm done). Any other flamers? What about Liberace? Love it... Cheers Laney | |

| Thanks!
Yes, I painted the skull... free hand. The flames look a lot better in person... multiple shades of orange and yellow.
I painted only one Flamer for Da Bank.... so no Liberace. Maybe he could have some rhinestones?

| Awesome, love it. Striking pose, nice colour scheme and the Elysian head really alters the dynamic and feel of the model. the model looks less 'heroic' scale now. Really nice freehand, but I feel a darker background would have done it more justice, as white, yellow and orange aren't as striking with the background. This is being picky but I'm not too fond of the shade of red you've used, personal preference I guess. I would have used a darker red or shaded the red you've used more heavily. But overall stunning!

| Thanks! For the red, I was aiming for a 'fire truck candy red'... kindda cartoonish-clean look. You are right, compared to the rest of the model it seems 'out of place'... but it was the idea to divert the observer's eyes to it. | |

| Actually the red makes the model alot better then it would be in all green camo. Makes the model have a higher contrast, and makes it stand out from the million of greenish guardsmen.
All in all good paintjob. love the elysian models.
