| This is one of my few efforts at converting because I refuse to pay $35 NZ for G.W's bolt thrower and I wanted one for my orc army. I'm quite proud of it and I was wondering what you guys think of it. Sorry the photos are pretty horrible I think the camera has low batteries. | |

| It look's great. It's a ggod idéa to save some cash. Then you can buy that really cool model you can't convert. | |

| Looks terrible... and by terrible I mean PERFECT!!!! Very Goblinoid/Orcish looking! The built is magnificent. Great job! On the paint job, is VERY good! You could leave it like it is, and ANYONE could be proud of fielding that thing! HA! I would suggest a brown wash on the metal parts... to give it that rusty touch (as it loos somewhat polished. Also, basing the models brings it to the max! Again... you got NOTHING to envy the GW built. Your is AS GOOD, and you have more fun building it (and saving some cash!) | |

| VERY NICE! You've got the Orc-i-tech feel to the Beasty down pat. It's at least as good as the GW version AND MUCH more reasonably priced. WELL DONE! | |

You think so? It would be great to be able to use it especially since last time I checked edward was thinking of getting some knights of . @mudboy: that is my main problem I really need to get some self control when it comes to money. @Mordheimer: I did dry brush over tin bitz but it doesn't really show up in the photo I'll definitely think about washing it. I do have another one but I will only post pictures of it if you want to see it, it is quite ugly.

| As Mordheimer tends to remind everyone at every turn, WE LOVE PICTURES =D I'm sure the other ballista doesn't look as bad as you think, I wasn't all that keen on my painting abilities until I started getting some good feedback from the guys on here =] | |

| Thanks guys, although I really can't see what you like. Anyway I thought I'd post the only redeeming part of the unit, the crew: A close up of my Gnoblar ORC bully. The camera was playing up so the skin looks much darker than it actually is. | |

| Wow. Those are cool. I've never seen those models before. They look a little older, but I personally like the old stuff. | |

I really like the models too, they are gnoblars from the ogre bulls set meant to decorate the ogres' bases. - Mordheimer wrote:

I can see you are going to keep at me until I base my models. I promise that I will get some paints and static grass as soon as possible (although I haven't seen any at my local hobby store). I have finally figured out how to quote specific people !

| You don't need to buy static grass to use for bases. Mix up 50/50 water and green paint, add it to some clean sawdust. Spread out on a tray to dry and you have a great grass base product. | |

| Thanks, Could you give me pictures or links to a tutorial please? It's not that I don't trust you it's just I really don't want to screw up perfectly good models because I did some think wrong. | |
