Nice list - I like the mix of aspects (be careful of the banshee and scorpion in close combat until they are tooled up though). The only thing is I would ditch the grenades and tool up the officers with some nice kit (for me grenades are a third or fourth game thing - unless you are using a grenade launcher with the IG). Think carefully about the mesh armour and who you most want to protect (mesh armour is pretty rubbish).

Hope this is useful

also now that i found the squad creation rules cause i wasn't paying attention and know that i can get rare 5 items at creation... duh.

with the the Wraithguard don't you need a spirit stone, and a dead unit before you can get that unit?

I know I am building an Eldar force and i am certain that is the case...also where does it say your allowed 5 rare items?

tried to find it and couldn't

Quote :
Note that you may only buy Rare Items that have a Rarity Value of 5 or less starting a Squad. After the Campaign starts, you may only acquire such exceptional items by locating them on the field (see the Trading section for details).
p.63 i think
it's under weapons and armor under the squads section before the scenarios.

And if you can't recruit the Wraithguard at the begining i think there need to be a bigger note about that because the spirit stone info is lost in the text.

Quote :
• Spirit Stone: May only be recruited if the Squad is in possession of a Spirit Stone that has been filled with the soul of a dead comrade.

But if I can't take it it frees up a crap ton of points.

checked pg63 nothing there that is a scenario.....

and your right regarding the spirit stone...makes it hard if you want the wraith guard first game you can't....

Can't you just buy the Spirit Matrix for one of the officers at the onset? That was my understanding of the rules.

you can buy it but you still couldn't use it unless you had a dead unit to put in it. you could go all the way to game 10+ before you actually have all of the requirements. it just depends on how soon you suffer an OOA and they DIE!!!!

Seems unfair that the IG can have a Orgyn at the start and the Eldar can't though.
Fluff wise it makes sense, balance wise it doesn't.

I think ill stick with my second list so that I can playtest getting the Wraithguard at the start and see what happens. Will have to add a spiritstone to the list though.
