PostSubject: Von Hagel's Art   Tue Jun 15, 2010 7:19 pm

Greetings everyone, I'm a brooding artist and I just realized I've never show you guys any of my pictures, I've painted since 2007, have a online web-gallery that I'll link to here.

I paint almost exclusively with watercolours and enjoy the chaotic element of their nature.

I will show you three of them here and post the link for the ones I have online in the end of the post, if you are interested in the title of some of them don't hesitate to ask, though I ask you come up with a tittle yourself that suites it, and then post it in this post so I know which one you are talking about. I love people making up their own interpretations, and what better way to facilitate that then with language barrier.

Here we go:
The subconscious

The Unborn

Mental Illness

Regards
Von Hagel

Here is the link for the rest, keep in mind I have 5 times the number of paintings these are just the ones I have online

I liked "Mental Illness"! The work "The Unborn" looked to me like Kermit the Frog.

Von

This is great work.

I just realized there is a big head attached to a smaller body in "mental illness".

I am impressed.

The art is weird... because the more you look at it, the more stuff you find! The one I posted seems to be a skull... but then transformed itself to a profile of a face... then to 3 profiles of faces... then I can see a fist (pink) coming down to the skull. HA! Fun!

LOVE what I see!

Betcha if I sit my girlfriend down on the computer and show her the one Mord posted up she'd want to buy it right then and there.....

Do you work with other mediums or do you just use watercolors?

Couple of questions: How big is the painting? How much is it, and would you consider a trade with models for it instead of payment?

I just showed it to my girlfriend and she basically said "do whatever it takes for you to get it because I want it". PLUS her birthday is at the end of the month, so this saves me from having to go out and get something for her LOL

Here's the info DoZer

Hight 59,4 cm = 23.4 inch
Broadness 42 cm = 16.5 inch

The usual selling price is between 1500-1000kr = 249.30USD - 166.20USD
But I will offer it to you for my friends price which is 750kr = 124USD
Shipping it to the states will be 36USD

Bringing us to a total of 160USD for this lovely painting.

I am not completely negative to the idea of getting models for some of the amount but for no more worth then half. Toying with some high elves atm, but I'd be open for a lot of stuff.

If this is too much consider one of my other paintings from in here http://www.myartspace.dk/www/Art/Art.asp?arttype=&profile=911

Sit down with your girlfriend and have a look and see if anything else peaks your interest.

Most of them are sized 40,5 cm x 30,5 cm and your price for one of them would be 500kr = 83USD with 36USD for shipping (I only charge what the Danish post service charge to send it)
