Ok, here goes. I'm not an experienced converter so just a lick of paint from me. I did greenstuff the Death Squads skull shoulderpad but that's as far as I went.
There's a little bit of something to go with him but it may give away who he is heading to, as would his title, so I haven't posted it.
I'm sorry I couldn't have done more on this, when I saw all the effort you guys have put into your prisoners I worried how this would be received.
Please feel free to let me know what you think.

Those are very kind words and most appreciated!
I've always prefered the more subtle earthy tones myself.
I'm hoping the person who gets him shares your enthusiasm DeafNala.
Thanks for your input!

Wow... I never pictured the color scheme for a scout. I will DEFINITELY keep it in mind. It really works for him! The skull looks a little funny... kindda like a Japanese Super Deformed Death Squads logo... LOVE IT!!! Cute & Deadly! HA!

Do not worry... put the bar to YOURSELF. You said you never convert models or do anything more than "a lick of paint". Think... you ventured WAY out of your comfort zone, sculpted, painted with multiple layers, inked, highlighted and based. DUDE!!!! That is AMAZING! Under those conditions you did more than most of us... not only someone would receive a VERY cool model, but they will know YOU became a little better hobbyist trying to prepare something special. Keep it up... maybe you are like Kiwi... the man CAN sculpt and had no idea!!! HA!

I'm proud of you. Blood Angel

Awww thanks Mordheimer sir! That really does mean a lot to me!
After seeing him like this I've decided on a very similar colour scheme for scouts in my new chapter.
I really wanted to do you proud with the Death Squads skull. It was indeed a challenge trying to model it. The biggest problem I had was making the skull's forhead large enough to house the smallest Aquilla I could get my hands on. I tried a lot of things and my hands were seizing up from the start.
I'm honoured by your kind words!

Ha! Well it wouldn't be too impressive as they sit in boxes at the moment. I'm waiting until I have the whole army before even starting to paint. I might base coat them before then but that is it Smile I'm looking at magnetizing this heavily too.
Besides I have no new Termies at all yet. So far it consists of 1 Land Raider (Terminus), 1 Rhino, 10 scouts, 2 Tactical squads, 1 Assault squad, 1 Land Speeder, 1 Attack bike, 2 Bikes (need another at least), Techmarine w/servitors, Librarian and a Chaplain. I'm going to need a whole lot more stuff before calling it a chapter Very Happy
You guys could maybe help with a name? It's had a luke warm reception before but I really like "Ignis Extremis"
(Ignis = Flame/Fire) (Extremis = Until death/Farthest reaches)
I was hoping to feature Flamers and Power Axes heavily. Sounds like a chapter of Anti-Fire Fighters Wink
What do you think people?
I can't see this happening for quite a while yet. I have a whole horde of Mantic Undead to get through then it's going to be Cities of Death Mania! Enough to keep me busy through to retirement Wink
