| Ok, Pictures!: No sargeants yet, still need to be glued, will be using placeholders in my first game. I also still want to do some basing and some more details, like maybe injuries or little alterations on armour and weapons on these guys. | |

| A good camera and some proper lighting. My older camera was crap, but the one I have now works a lot better. It is actually a videocamera, but it takes great pictures. | |

| Cool models... The booby traps look ace - just like they've been cobbled together in the field - perfect. The positioning on the las pistol arm of the captain is very gangsta - like it. Cool looking autoguns - very special forces (I might have to try that). Thoughtful use of parts on the medic (namely the body looks very medical). Nice shotgun (wouldn't thought to use a tau weapon). All in all a great starter squad. Any ideas on colour scheme etc. Cheers Laney | |

| Yeah, dark, rust red for the armour (fairly clean, to avoid the chaos connections) and dark grey for the clothes. Further some bronze for the eagles. Not really urban-cammo'y, but different (for me at least).
I had the boobytraps lying around as cityfight stratagem. Not all that sure about the shotgun, is is maybe a bit to big, although I like the tech look about it. One of my next projects will be a gaurdsmen with a modified Tau burst cannon as heavy stubber/heavy bolter.
Edit: and I like that you like my autoguns. The 'special forces look' was excactly what I was going for, so, Yay!

| I agree with Laney... GREAT looking Squad! The booby traps are THE best... I can hear the Captain... - IG Captain wrote:

Heheheh.... my fav is the piece of I-beam with the grenades attached. HA! Great job. Thanks for sharing. Arachas: There are TWO great tutorials on how to take great pics on the Tutorial section.

| Ace new models - the sergeants in particular look very cool. Nice weapon combo - what kind of weapon is the pistol (autopistol?) Good work - look forward to seeing them painted. Cheers Laney | |

| The pistols are made from laspistols with the barrel from a kroot gun. Currently they are used as sluggers, but they are more like 'general pistols'.
The minigun is made from a Tau burst cannon with a autocannon magazine and some odd plasticcard and bits thrown in. He also caries an autocannon magazine on his back for when his first drum runs out... :p
I've got three of the first mini's partly painted, but they are not nearly far along yet to show. Currently I am working on terrain.

| My dear Colonel Prius, I see your men are in good shape. They certainly look fine to me. Outstanding job. I look forward to "meat" them ( okay, bad joke!). Anyway, fancy a BBQ? You can leave the hardware at home ... Yours truly, Major Sturmm | |

| Hmm, my flowerbeds could do with some traiterous blood to satisfy their thirst, they are Fleur-de-lys after all. What do you think, 25 to fifty holes per traitor (in the traitor) should suffice for good drainage, yes? Luckely I've got just the tools for that. But first I have some Xenos to dispatch. Busy schedule indeed. | |

| Mwuahahahahaha! You guys are funny. Well ... we shall see. Me and my men are enjoying a nice "holiday" in bootcamp. And I've met an interesting piece of work that calls himself a Preacher. Sergeant Taykinae has learned an interesting skill. She will surprise you ... And no, Arachas, her new skill is not what you think it is. She knew that one already ...
Ciao! Sturmm | |
