So to satisfy the demand for pictures I figured I could post up some of my other stuff since I have not started working on any Death squad members yet. I need to take some better pictures but my camera recently decided to bite the dust so they might be a while in coming.

First will be some Marines of the Emperor's Shadow chapter, and boy are they looking forward to the release of the rules for Space Marine Scouts...

And here is a Retribution Class Battleship just to switch things up, it has since gotten a slight colour change to a more golden yellow since this photo was taken.

Cool - great to see the emperor's finest being sensible enough to wear camo colours for once! Smile . Nice name for a chapter, have you worked out a chapter symbol for them?

I love the battlefleet gothic models the level of detail is superb, and yet I cannot justify actually buying any for myself (so I will just have to jealously look at your model from time to time and dream of my own fleet!).

On a critique note: some basing would really set the models off - nothing too much just some modelling sand and static grass (in similar colours to the camo).

Cheers Laney cheers

I 2nd the motion of EXCELLENT camo-color scheme! For once, Intelligent Marines! HA! Besides simple basing, I would also suggest some brown wash/ink... specially on the Terminators. They would look black-lined!

The Predator is my favorite!

Thanks for the pics... AWESOME!

Ohhh you're not the only one waiting for those Scout-rules!

Nice mini's mate. Indeed cool you did them in camo (Prius once had a very cool camo Chapter, but he sold it). Mord is right: some washing or ink will make them even cooler. Not to mention a little highlighting.

Good thing I still have a picture then Wink. This was years ago, when I was still like 'What are washes?" So the painting isn't really that good...

Those are awesome

And I am still like "what are washes?"

That is not totally true, I did buy some Badab black wash and did one squad and it just sort of made them look dirty so I stopped. But maybe I will go back and touch them, The thought of highlighting Camo puts me off.

Went to the local store to buy two boxes of Guard to start making a Death Squad but it was closed so I guess I could work on basing my Marines instead.....

Laney explained WASHES the best... check his AMAZING Tutorial (link) ... it has TONS of great pictures that showcase what washes and inks do.

If you like the tutorial, make sure you either thank Laney or send him $500... your choice. Just Kidding
