Hi all,

My name's Steve, and I'm very new to this board, obviously, but I've been collecting Warhammer in it's various forms for over 15 years. I absolutely love Mordheim, so when I heard about this site, I wasted no time joining you all.

I'll be convincing my mates to have a go, and hopefully we can assist in the playtesting soon. I've got a vested interest in getting the Space Marine Scouts into the game hehe.

I've been collecting Imperial Fists right from the get-go, but I've recently branched into Wood Elves for Fantasy. I'll have some pics of them once I've painted them hehe.

If you love Mordheim like I do (I wrote www.mordheimer.com ) you will enjoy Death Squads! Hell... if you love Necromunda, you will love too! HA! We got heavy inspiration from both systems, but made sure to improve on some game mechanical issues... always very discretely ( ) so to make the game flow.

Play with your friends, enjoy the game... post your Battle Reports (with pics! We love pics!), post your questions and comments... once you get a hand for the game, you can either join the Staff as a Play Tester or as a Developer. This is a game by Fans FOR Fans.

See, when I saw your name was Mordheimer, I thought that was just a coincidence. I LOVE the Mordheimer site! That is such a fantastic resource! Sorry for sounding all fanboyee, but I can't understate the awesome work you've done there.

Hahah... much appreciated! You see, I started learning about Mordheim WAY after it was popular. Everybody talked about this great, but not supported game. I wanted to play, so I started writing notes in paper... then in a Word document... then I made an HTML index (back in the days it was hard.. )... then I saved it on the web... then I made access... then a private website... finally a public site! The idea was to preserve all the AMAZING work I found on the web under one heading.

While I don't play Mordheim anymore (barely any time to breath lately!), I do enjoy that countless others still use the site. I just renew the domain and server for one more year... so keep enjoying it!

As for Death Squads... as you can see, we aim even higher. Unlike that project, is the work of MANY! You can put your enthusiasm and energy on the project and make the game WAY better.

so guessing no more of the works in progress on the site are getting finished...
