| Ace!
Base - exceptional and the statue spot on
Prisoner - really cool (reminds me of a Sonataran)
Story - you really get the sense of him tracking down a victim with this diorama

| Thanks all for your positive feedback! Makes me want to jump on another project asap! That's also a positive "side effect" from this Prisoner Exchange project: I really enjoyed building and painting it so much that I'm very eager to go further with my squad! @Narcissus: I achieved the "seamless" effect by revering the "inserting" method: the prisoner has to be inserted in the base from below. (sounds a but strange perhaps, but I found out it was the best way for keeping the diorama effect) Ah I can imagine the prices were indeed steep, a recent research has learned us that Amsterdam has one of the highest hotel/hostel prices in Europe! Hope you had a good time despite of it. @Da Bank: who will know? @Mordheimer: haha another tutorial? And I was going to say that it wasn't that special... "tutorial on making the statue", what do you mean by that? How to build that statue? Or how to paint it? Or do you mean the prisoner? @Laney: had to look that Sonataran up, but you're right! He indeed kinda looks like one! | |

| When you decide to make another statue... PLEASE take pics of every step! Your statue looks GREAT! The only thing is missing is bird poop... but I imagine it is because it is winter! | |

| Haha I did think of putting bird poo on it, but thought it would look messy with the snow. (poop and snow don't match on minis )But I'm glad you like it! When I create a new statue I'll document it. | |

| Thank YOU!!!He arrived this morning - it's been an amazing model to watch take shape here on , and it's even better in real life! It survived the journey pretty well, and is now sitting proud next to me in the study. And I've already decided that he's going to see active service on the tabletop - a model this nice has no right just being a display piece...now I just need to make a model representing the prey he's hunting! Mate, thank you. It was a joy to receive! Sparrow | |

Patience! I will get some pics taken at some point - at the moment, work is pretty busy (weddings / funerals / baptisms / meetings / sermons / communion / pastoral visits...the list goes on) but I will try to get some photo's taken and uploaded by the weekend. Still an awesome model Sparrow | |

| Better late then never, I guess? With the construction of a simple light box, I've finally got a few photos that do this amazing model justice!! Again, Gatlag, thank you for this amazing model. It takes centre place in my collection! Matt | |
