| I just installed VASSAL, and find it rather nice.
Anyone out there who plays?
I would like to get a game in here and there to test what to buy, and learn the rules more extesively.

| I've never played it before, but I'm thinking that may have to change after a quick google. | |

| I play it quite frequently. It takes a bit to get used to, but its not to steep of a learning curve. Just keep in mind that its top down, so some things just don't work in 6th edition rulebook (things like levels in buildings and embarked in buildings).
We debated for some time to try some things on vassal for DS, but again it doesn't do justice to a 3d environment.
If you are interested in giving it a whirl we can try and work something out if you'd like.

| A virtual table for 40k. I tried it and liked it a lot for testing and learning the rules. | |

| Ah, so a way to play it remotely then? Hmm, I think I could get into that still, especially if the game can be walked away from. Similar to playing a long running game of chess or something. | |
