Hi everyone, I've been really slow getting around to doing anything for this. Here is my attempt to speed assemble and paint a model.

Parts used:
-Fantasy chaos sorcerer body
-Fantasy slaanesh lord head
-chaos possessed arm
-chaos lord book

Sorry this has come along slowly, I had a big migraine and was unable to paint anything.

I decided to use the airbrush a bit to create some big blends and to get some of the colours painted quickly.

I painted the blue by first airbrushing Vallejo Game Colour Hawk Turquoise. I then painted shadows with a mix of the Turquoise and black and then added some highlights with hawk turquoise and white.

I then hand painted the off white colour using Vallejo Model Air (VMA) Sand. I added shadows using VMA Sandy Brown and VMA Burnt Umber in the deepest recesses. I added a tiny bit of highlighting with some sand and white mixed too.

Getting around to things slowly is most definitely something I can identify with. You have the saving grace of getting around to something of potential. The Chaos Guy looks like he will be Oh-So-Cool once completed. When the spirit moves you, keep up the GOOD WORK!

Thanks DeafNala, he is all finished now. I just need to wait for him to dry so I can photograph him.

Here is how he looked this morning before I finished the details:

LOOKIN' GOOD! I really like the colors you chose; the sandy off white on his robes & helmet crest go well with the medium blue. GREAT WORK! Thumbs Up

Thanks DeafNala. I think I am slowly joining your school of thought on painting. I am going to just paint things however I want and not focus on accepted colour schemes for 40k models. Just paint things for me, when I want, and how I want. Hahaha.

Here is the finished model:

Thanks DeafNala. I'm pleased that you like it. I like the bright colours too-a bit of a change for me.
