| WHAT? No text?!?! No CRAZY story?!?! BOOO!!!! Folks... I was there. It was awesome!
Before I start the formal report, I would like to OFFICIALLY present (and announce) the birth of our NEW sponsor; V.I.S.I.O.N. (Visually Impaired Snakes Improvement Organization & Network). Their mission is to help improve the lives of all those MILLIONS of snakes who were forcefully sacrificed by Da Bank & Dozer to make this game (as well as ALL others) possible! Apparently they decide to forcefully remove the "snake's eyes" ( ) and use them as dice for their nefarious gaming entertainment!
While the dice-gods appear to love them, V.I.S.I.O.N. believes that this is unfair for the snakes, which are then left to leave blind miserable lives... we will help the blind snakes! It is rumored that Da Bank has a whole Venezuelan village working on the extraction of eyes and smuggling them to the country by pigeons! The people will NOT tolerate the abuse... so many ONE's... so many Blind Snakes... the horror... the humanity!
The sacrifice of those snakes was evident and V.I.S.I.O.N. has been alerted! When you need a 2+ to take a fighter OOA and you FAIL to do it TWICE in a row, you know that snakes were robbed of a brilliant visually appealing future! Dozer brought truck-load of snake eyes too! His game was so... errr... interesting... that when he would roll 3's (which was still a failure!) there was celebration... even from the card-flippers! HA!
Da Bank... Dozer... V.I.S.I.O.N. will be knocking on BOTH of your doors! I'm a card-carrying member... and I will not tolerate the abuse!
Now, for the gaming part. Dozer brought his game! In a masterful twist, he made the Death Korps MOVE out of entrenchment (thus negating one of their advantages) and coordinated his assault. Da Bank had the Flamer From Hell... pinning several Kroot (they got KD, stood up only to go KD again!) inside a building. Back and forth, each Squad fought bravely! It was a close match... all the way to Turn 9!!! The Kroot Shaman used one of his powers (pushes a model D6"... in theory to push people off buildings!) to get an enemy Officer CLOSER!?! I was totally lost... because I missed the part that he Declared A Charge with his Close Combat Specialist. Not only the power was unleashed, but the fighter was moved on the right direction, the minimum amount needed. BRILLIANT!
At the end, the victory was for the Kroot; Da Bank's insane rolling (and by insane rolling, I mean HORRIBLE ) cost him the game. Three Officers could not kill a Hound (HA! It took them 4 Turns!!!) had his forces split. The Kroot's Vicious Charge (+1 Ws and S when they Charge) proved to be a good thing... not too powerful, but effective (and by effective, I mean I don't know because Dozer could not even hit the GROUND on a Charge!) We also tested the new Routing rules... and they are looking better and better! Super solid and increased the fun factor by 100 fold... with SIMPLER rules! We managed to gather some tweak data for the Kroot and are considering few other tweaks. All in all, the feedback and information gathered was invaluable. Ohhh... we may have picked up TWO new players! Campaign anyone?!?!

| Thanks Mordheimer for being a sponsor and those kinds words. LOL.
It was crazy the number of 1s and 2s that were rolled. Dozer's kroot hound survived the onslaught of three Death Korp models for almost 5-6 turns.
I figured out during the game that if my dice bounced off a piece of terrain that my ability to roll a 4+ increased expeidentually by 8.999% as compared to rolling the dice on the table only.
I took over 60 pics of the game and I hope to upload them all but i got tired that night after the game.
I want to thank Dozer for a great game.
There were some really good things that came out of the game.

| Hahaha! Nice Mord...... I am pretty sure that regardless of what V.I.S.I.O.N says, I will always be rolling snake eyes....
It was a great game overall, and it literally came down to who could take advantage of the good dice rolls when the time came. I got a little lucky that with my first shot at Da Banks Ogryn, I rolled a critical and a regular wound. Critical came out too two wounds with armor -4 and no cover saves, and he failed his cover save for the regular wound. One rapid fire shot and BOOM, by by Ogryn!! It was a great game, and I am glad the guys gave me the opportunity to give me input on the squad.

| As Mordheimer noted there were two guys played Warhammer Fantasy and at the end of the game they came over to see what we were playing. They said they wanted to start playingn DS next week. I gave them the forum address to download the rules. Playtesting the game and getting others involved in playing is what makes this game great. It is an experience that is fun for those that love 40K or love the sci fi experience. Truth be told, I have never like 40K but I love Sci Fi. After playing on Thursday night we saw a few things that need touched up but again the overall game is solid just some fine polishing here and there. No different than any other game that you would go pay $50 for currently. Dozer was a great player and it was a great game. The game went well, well expect for all the 1's and 2's we rolled. Other than that the Kroot got any player to playtest to see what I have noticed. The Death Korp operated pretty well but need a little polish to them as this is the only IG Variant Squad that I have not tested yet. | |

| I agree... as a pure observer that night, I had fun seeing what was evolving. The calling of dice rolls went to new heights ( - Da Bank wrote:
- Need 4 to Wound? No problem! Bounce once on the table, off the plastic freight crate, on to the terrain's column, back to the table, landing on 4. {rolls... boing, ping, clack, pun...} 4!!!
Ha! Priceless! On the testing side... we play the rules as written, then at the end we discuss the game, strategies and what rules felt good or bad. As Senior Developers we do test some new ideas from time to time, but generally we do have information from regarding the general rules. PLAYING IS VITAL... and everyone can do it! Remember that sending your feedback is critical for the development process to continue.
