| This gator wouldn't flinch or move. I got about 30 feet from him.
I would estimate with tail he was 6 feet or roughly 2 meters long for our European friends. | |

| The gator police came and picked him up.
They said the gator was 7 feet 11 inches long.

| I didn't as I don't mind them. They normally won't mess with a human on land but they have killed a few people that way.
Some stupid person (who wasnot from the US and not a regular visitor to our state) was visiting and called the Alligator police. The alligator police tied him up and took him off to put him somewhere away from people. It is against the law to kill an alligator and black bear in Florida.
The non native American lady expected that the alligator would be killed. She was quite surprised that was not to be the case.
My family didn't mind him as he have been watching him for months. We named him "Alli". We watched him from the back.
