I would 'wash' the skulls with brown ink (devlan mud) so they get more depth... everything else is GREAT!

well... after few battles with those guys i decided to try and recruit a vulture... and here came problem with figures... i was searching for any kroot flyers, but nowhere i coud found any, so i decided to make one. I sit, study some pics of bird and flying mammal bones and produce a pair of bat-like wings.

Then i try to fit them to several finished models... and one result i had to assemble

and paint.
results? judge yourself.

i'll add some GS on it, just need some time to dry the glue but it won't change much.

Since Kroots are who they eat, this Guy has a diet I'd rather not think about. COOL, if somewhat WEIRD mini.

PS: The Pentax is the Kroot's Big Unit... dr!zzt has been play-testing them.

Really nice kroots, I like the colour scheme a lot, the pentex is a bit confusing as of now, with so much going on and only greenstuff and plastic grey, I think it will help once it's painted, keep it up

hehehe... phantax would,t be used, b'cause i choose kauyon path, but because of flood and lack of elecricity i had plenty of time and made several weirdos.

Kroots have always been so and so in my book, I've never hated them, but not been too psyched about them either.

You sir Dr!zzt have really managed to pour so much character and love into those models, that now, heck I'd love to play
against them some time.

Drizzt - these new models are superb - Like Von Hagel I could really get into Kroot if they are this characterful. Superb conversions. How did you do the medics bag - mostly greenstuff (If so it's excellent work)?

the bag is made of plastic core ,then gs.

The wierd five is almost done, meanwhile i convert another pour kroot into vulture. here comes, just based. I had some problems with placing the wings, anyone had any ideas how to glue something like that to model?? the alternative for hump.
