| Excellent WiP!!! What is next for them? So far, they look COOL! I have to agree with you on the " Yellow was a challenge!" comment... by The Warp, that IS an understatement! I have never had good luck with it. Are you planing to highlight the models? I think you do. The bone white on the helmet is VERY good, but makes the yellow look pale (no pun intended) and one-dimensional. I guess you are a victim of your own talent! The same thing with the red. I suggest highlight with yellow (same you used before the wash) and then a mix of yellow & bone white. For the red, I suggest the same red you use for the base and then a mix of red & fiery orange. Also, just spot highlight (rather than doing the whole edges)... same effect (tricks the eye), less work. This other suggestion... you won't like. Paint EYES. No matter how great the model is, if the eyes are non existent, the model goes down hill. Remember that painting is about tricking the observer, and if you look at a model of a person you expect to see 'natural' features... like eyes. Finally... don't forget to base the models! Great work so far. Keep us updated!!! | |

| Great premise for the game. I wish GW had supported Space Hulk beyond the Limited Box Set - you know Deathwing, chaos marines etc (if only for the cool models).
The Bananamen don't get enough love in my opinion. I've been pondering a full terminator army (again - last time it turned into chaos marines) - maybe a 'proper' Deathwing (just enough for Space Hulk) or even Ultrasmurfs (though that feels distinctly wrong). What colours did you use for the yellow?
Will you be doing all the chaos guys as well?
Cheers Laney | |

Great work so far. Keep us updated!!! I dunno, this guy's eyes just make me imagine he's saying "Go on. Mess with me... I dare you." That maybe just me though

Exactly like THIS guy... You need sclera (the white part of the eye) and a color iris to make a NORMAL looking face. You can make him squint... but squinting is not angry.

| Or this guy: lol I never really saw where the actual eye part was on that terminator head, I could sorta see it but sometimes it just looks like oddly shaped cheek bone... | |

| Thanks for the support guys I have been working mainly on rules for the csm and shooting, also summoning daemons! Tehe, played a little tester, I also plan to include chaos terminators, and regular marines in the imperial fist force as well, also some campaign rules with regards to fighhting force, where the imperial fists have a limited number of marines, and have to be kept track off throughout the game, coz this is one thing I found silly in the space hulk campaing, that sergent lorenzo would die, but would reapear in the next mission! As for painting, the colour was a strange mix, of yellow, thinned down with a brown wash, and a mall abount of codex grey, it took me several atempts to get it right on the serg, and I lightened the colout up by adding small amounts of yellow and bleach bone each time, as for the face, it has not been worked on yet, just a white undercoat with a brown mix +ll get on it later, after work! | |
