Perfect hive terrain

Found link:this thread a while back and have viewed their TLX concept as a perfect fit for me. With a wife and kids dedicating a TON of space to bulky terrain probably won't fly. I haven't bought anything yet, but I've been checking the site and forums pretty regularly and have to share this.









Not sure if I'm breaking the rules for advertising commercial site, please delete if I am, but since I saw the other post (and didn't want to necro it) I figured this was my best bet.

Looks very cool - I've thought about getting some of their wyrd games terrain for quick building. This new stuff on the forum usually takes a while to come out. I just wish my printer wasn't broken or I'd build more of their stuff.

Don't worry about thread necromancy - If it's open it's fair game!

Good to know about the thread necromancy. They said there will be a destroyed version of it following so eventually I see full on hive wars in the future at my house. Fought one squad at a time of course

Well there goes my next post down the drain. Thanks for adding the pics, I had enough trouble getting the links to work right. I love the little 3D details, they bring a lot to the models.

Figured I'd mention this set has been released. At $4.50 for the download it's a lot cheaper than their more involved projects. I keep toying with the idea of buying it even though I won't be building any of it for a while.

Super cheap. Definitely going to consider it.

I've bought several sets from World Works Games, but am yet to build anything so I can't speak for anything beyond the promo pics.

Still, figured I should follow up here when I saw the announcement for their next set. If the original post is the perfect hive terrain then Sector Sigma is definitely the underhive. It's a re-imagining of an earlier set Platform Command with updated geometry and all new textures. I bought the older set since it will likely be retired when Sector Sigma is released, but it doesn't really look like it was necessary. They had a sale though and I couldn't resist.

Nothing yet, and probably not for a while. I bought the new set, but with the kids and work I just don't commit ANY time to gaming really. It's all just fantasizing about "someday". Though I did squeeze into a game of Black Crusade ran by my old Dark Hersey GM when I was on vacation in Massachusetts where I used to live. I also have a buddy from there (one of the players in the BC game) starting a video chat based Basic D&D game. So I will start playing something soon.

Ah bummer. I can relate to that, I also have hardly time for my honby needs. Lately it's going a bit better and I try to take as much as I can.
