Strykes prisoner log!

Well I am a lazy boy! I have been so bogged down with uni work its not even funny! not been doing anything warhammer related since my last update with imperial fists! But I made a commitment to this PE and I will finish it! my thinking is an Ork Kommando, I am going to try and work in a dynamic pose, instead of the usual ork holding his weapons in the air roaring lol maybe make a larger terrain peice for him to be displayed in, we shall see parts just arrived today for him but some were missing so I will update some WIP pics asap

hey guys, sorry again for the lack of progress on this, I have a dissertation due in a couple of weeks for university once it is done I will have a few sleepless nights making this! XD I cant wait to have free time again! soon as I promise!

Dissertation first... pics later. If not, we will have to go to Scotland and kick some... errr... how you guys say it? Some Arse? HA!

took a small break from the writing, took some pics for you guys, this is my ork kommando, looking at poses, and weapons, I like the look of the knife or the two guns, I might have a read through the ork armoury for weapon ideas,

I am thinking of magnetising one of the arms, or both, so that he can look sneaky, or in mid combat!

also having him as part of diorama would be nice, and can be removed hen wanted to be played with :O







any comments?

maybe consider a silencer on his guns! XD back to writing the endless monotony that is my dissertation

i shall endeavour to finish this one time! i think i will be ready to start painting the prisoner as soon as the greenstuff has dried by this time tomorrow hopefully you will see a painted ork with magnetised arms! still need to make his alternative arms though, and a terrain piece to go with him i shall be done on time! im not ruining the surprise for my recipient! ill upload pics for tomorrow



im thinking maybe a power claw? scratch building it from styrene, not done that before so might test my abilities

quick update, cutting this close I know but I aim to have this done for Saturday!

started work on the scratch power claw, scraped the idea of magnets too little time for me (stupid uni!) i am planning on trying OSL on this guy, as you can see the lamppost in the background, this will be a part of the larger terrain piece that the model will sit on,
