Oh.

Apologies for leading you astray. The cooking oil continues to work for me - it must be some difference in the qualities of the different silicone we're using for our moulds.

I guess it's good for me to know that if I plan to switch to a cheaper silicone, I need to be prepared to invest in some mould release as well as the ultra sensitive scales.

I'm glad your mould can still be used. (Did you just use a hobby knife to cut it?)

EDIT: I just picked up some more Resin and Silicone. I paid $66 for 1kg of Silicone and $36.30 for 950g of resin. That's all in $AU, but $AU and $US are pretty comparable these days.

Mudboy: Hello

What is the latest? Have you had a chance to work on this?

I am sure others would like to hear how it is going.

Yeah I finished the newer two-part moulds but then I got sick and then I got distracted by some Firefly larp and some daemon sculpting and some base making and bbq and beer and...

You get the point, "Mordheimer attention span syndrom" Rolling Eyes

I'll see if I can get some new stuff up tomorrow. If I don't get distracted by anything more exciting Resin Casting - Page 2 Boot
