| Always an interesting idea - I think that the kitbash challenge should finish first - but after that...
I might even have some cool Sedition Wars minis to convert by then!

| I would be game once the other competition has ended. I really enjoyed building a model for someone else. | |

| Ok, sounds good. It can wait till a bit of time after the conversion corner contest going on right now.
@Arachas: Dude, you can't met worse than me! I have no skill, just imagination
Help keep me posted on how the current event is going and maybe we can get back together and try to pick a time. I believe we did this around May last year. I just thought it would be good to start thinking about it again.
@Gatlag: How you been? It has been a while. You are from way back when we started this project.

| question was the last Prisoner exchange ever actually finished? I don't recall hearing what happened with the back story we wrote and alot of Prisoner never arrived, weren't sent or if received not reported to the group.
so before a new one is started can the last one be officially closed or something
And yes my Kitbash project is currently on until Feb 7th.
So once that has ended please start a new round of Prisoner exchange.
Cheers LGW | |

| The announcememt of PE 2012 was somewhere in January I think and it ended in May or so. I agree with LGW: let's start the PE 2013 after the Conversion Contest has ended, so somewhere near the end of February. - Da Bank wrote:

I'm cool, thanks! Had a rough period this year but things are doing better lately. I even rejoined the team but haven't got much to do since Mord went AWOL. Really hope he's doing well and it's just the "normal life thingie" that got him at the moment.

@Gatlag: How you been? It has been a while. You are from way back when we started this project. That's not the point. I only sent my prisoner to Lydor last month. Way, way, WAY too late, especially for a Dev. @Lydor: why didn't you PM me you got it? OMG! I was all worried... ;D

| By the way I think it's better to raise the threshold a bit more this time. I really want this to be an event for the more active and loyal forum members. Not for peeps just coming in. It's nice to know your recipient a bit better imho. | |

| Yeah I was thinking of at least some time of registration and or postcount. But only if more people agree. | |

| @Arachas: Yea, I hear ya.
@Gatlag: Glad to hear you are back and things are getting better. I have no time. Work, working on my Masters, family and i coach two basketball teams. LOL. I will call MORD today and see how he is doing.
@KOM: Theme? That sounds interesting.

| Did any of the new members that joined the prisoner exchange last time end up sticking around and becoming members? I seem to remember there were a lot of new people who joined and participated. It would be a pity to exclude anyone, but I see your point about somewhat knowing the other people you are sending them to as well. | |

| I do agree on criterias of some kind... but can also see the argument for not having one...
Personally I have never finished my prisoner, it broke twice (stupid GW glue), that should not be a excuse, but I never recived on myself and my "target" have not been active since signing up for the event and have himself not sent anything... This did really kill my motivation and made the hole expericence kind sucks for me. Right now the model just sit there staring at me, but even if I finish it, I dont feel if my target deserves it...
I probaly wont participate becourse of last expericence and Im moving i middle of febuary, so have to pack up my stuff soon.

| I really enjoyed the prisoner exchange, though I remember thinking that the whole thing was a bit stressy for mord, considering some signed up to do it but never delivered. So some sign up/guarantee would be good.
That being said, the prisoner forced me to try to paint better, and I get a kick out of knowing that one of my conversions is in New Zealand. I also love that, thanks to gatlag, there is an awesome bounty hunter sitting proud in my collection, inspiring me to keep painting. So totally up for doing it again.

-Skavenslayer Too bad to hear that! Stories/experiences like the one you described here are the mean reason why I think a "threshold" is needed. - Matt12z wrote:

| Hopefully, people who sign up will take the time to complete their portion. I can say, I sent mine out at the last minute but it was sent by the deadline. It is up to the person to govern themselves on making this type project.
There is no reason for anyone to get stressed. It is an event that people volunteer and hopefully they will follow through. There is no way to enforce it. But, maybe when the Adeptus ARbites make it to the rule book we can call them and have them follow up with those who need a friendly reminder.
Bummer, Skavenslayer.
@Gatlag...What kind of threshold?

| I don't exactly but we can make something up together. Perhaps at least a postcount of 50 or so and/or at least a half year of membership. That way we will know that only the more active members will participate and hopefully prevent situations like the one from skavenslayer. | |
