Chaos Cult of Nurgle

Well thats my new squad. They are at different stages of base coat. I am going to paint them in different schemes. so each one will be different. The brown will end up being some kind of dirty mustard color and the skin will be a greenish white.

not sure but I think the Saboteurs and Cultist need something added to them. Any ideas?

Still waiting to see what the name will be i'll close the poll tonight and if there is a tie I'll post the two most popular ones and do a vote off. Name My Nurgle Squad

need some symbols of nurgle though like 3 craters on the shoulder pads or something.

I have some chaos icons coming from ebay. [there are a few Nurgle icons in that pack]

Was thinking of giving the Saboteurs combat shields and adding a Nurgle icon on to them. either three skulls or just three green circles.

I still have a small amount of green stuff left so might try something on the shoulder pads.

Hhehehe... excellent models. I would suggest some Nurgle symbols (Dozer has an EASY way to make 'em out of GS) and some weird (subtle) pus.

To paint 'em, try the following formula (always pushing your skills!) Paint 3 basic SOLID base colors. For example, 'flesh' for skin... 'maroon' for armor... 'boltgun' for metal. Then do 3 SOLID accent colors (blue for gems, bone white for horns, etc. Then apply the wash you normally do. I think you use different color of washes, so this will not be anything hard. Then after it dries, DRYBRUSH.... yes, that is the challenge for you!

The drybrush will take the model to the next level. Whatever you do, I know is going to be great! Can wait to see it!

it will be carapace armour. [eventually]

I decided to play around with the squad. haven't done anything regarding the painting just some base coats still working out what colours I'll use.

It's all VERY COOL & IMAGINATIVE stuff, but the Icon Guy is the COOLEST of the COOL. The out stretched hands matching the trophy hands on the back banner are what make it special for moi. GREAT WORK!

They look great , very nice conversions as always.
The icon of nurgle is fantastic, I'm sure it will look great painted.

he came out quite well in the end as for paint job I don't delude myself as to my skill with the brush. [its average to mediocre.]

but they will be painted and based and at least gaming ready.
