| YIKES! They photographed REALLY good... but not quite as great as seeing them in person (they are WAY better!) What is REALLY good about the models are the TINY kit bashing stuff... you can spend hours looking at the models finding little things. When I saw the Battle Wagon I though it was a 'typical' Astartes Loot... look at the front. This was a KHORNE Landraider!!!! Some Beserkers must be mad!!!! Also the Gargant... so many little things. There are some Gretchins (WHAT!?! I have a fetish for Grotz... move on!) doing some interesting things. And the scale is so massive... ha! And I saw the Kommando with the pirate hat!!! Overall, AMAZING pieces! Check out Laney's Ork Konversions. I think you will enjoy 'em too! THANKS FOR SHARING! PS: Like Arachas said... go for the jugular! I went ahead and edited the post, to get the big pics here. We are lazy, and we can't click!!! WAAAGH! | |

| Brilliant work - the epitome of orkish ingenuity - loads of inspiration for me to take to my revised Ork Squad. Superb Gargant (I've done a Warhound - but not half as good as this!) and land raider is exceptional. Any more to share? (the deffkoptas look like they are GW original models - excellent conversions). Thanks for sharing (and I'd love some feedback on my own humble efforts) Laney | |

| Thanks for the kompliments! I'd rate myself a slightly above tabletop painter. A long shot from pro - I just don't have the dedication to kick it up to that level. The battlewagon is extra wide. A lucky shot from a 4th ed zzap gun split 'er up the middle and the big mek took the opportunity to weld in an extra 2" of metal to the hull. Unfortunately that led to it getting stuck in narrow lanes between terrain, forcing da boys to hoof it the long way around. So, the deff rolla had to be added to plow through... Some Deff skullz in me band... errr... found these raven-beakie bikes and the mekboys repurposed them into deffkoptas. Funny thing is, they used assault cannons to drive the propellers! More pix as requested: Looted Wagons with Boomguns: Looted Wagon with Skorcha: Shooty Battlewagons: Skullhamma: Shoota Boyz: Did Imperial surveillance capture an actual image of the elusive Utan himself? Thanks for the feedback!

| Brilliant Razorback conversion - I love the cool boomgun! What;s the base model for your skullhamma? I don't recognise the tank as GW. Cool detail on the Utan pic (any chance of a close-up?) Excellent work - very impressed Laney | |

Excellent work - very impressed Laney Isnt the skullhama a banablade/stormblade conversion? {edit, no, on closer inspection it loos more like a converterd regular tank kit. Maybe a leopard tank?} I'm more interested on the tracks on the first Russ though, those wide tracks. What are those made of?

| Glad you all seem to like these. I hope they give you all some ideas.
The Tank I used for the basis of the Skullhamma is a real-world Merkava. I covered a lot of it in plasticard plates and 40k bits. The big-gun is the manufactorum smokestack.
Coincidentally, da big tracks on the first Russwagon came from the Merkava!

| Well... I was watching and admiring all the pictures. My son (Alejandro... he is 4) stopped by and pointed at the "surveillance" image. He summarized MY opinion of all your models. - Quote :
- Are those real? YES?!?! Can they talk? What do they say?
I nodded and answered: "Papi, they say WAAAGH! ... just WAAAGH!" Needless to say, above table-top by duppa! Excellent quality of work... and the surveillance picture is INSPIRING. As close as I get to a Gork or Mork religious experience! HA! Keep on sharing!!! (and thanks!)

| Mordheimer and me are in different schools on the pronunciation of Waaagh! Mord ends it with a hard "G", where I come from those who treat the "GH" as silent (similar to night or light). It's really the ork way of shouting "War!" which is what all orks live for! Here's a few more pix to clutter up your forum... | Great models. The Gretchins (pronounced with a rolling Spanish R) are cool! I want to adopt them! The scorchas are cool... because they look like gRRRRRetchins are the only ones capable of driving them. HA! Green Tide... very cool!
... and thanks for the xeno-linguistic class too!!! WAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!

Deff Skullz will loot anything that aint nailed down. You can't see it in that pic, but essentially the mek took the tyranid bio-gun and bolted it to a shoota. The firing of the shoota shells into the bug-weapon stimulates the release of the 'nid venom. The loota boy has canisters of 'nid juice that he loads into the 'bio-shoota' to replenish the ammo. You can see a couple in his backpack...
