| I've bought quite a lot of stuff from fantasy flight and it is generally of a very high quality. I haven't seen this particular product, but definitely worth a closer look. They are doing what GW should have done with the IP. I keep meaning to buy the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay books they do. The Space Hulk in my Pocket link was interesting too! Laney

| HOLY COW!!! YOU FOUND IT!!!! I have been looking for this! I played it last Winter with my wife's cousins... VERY FUN! We played 4 games (until 4 am!). The premise is that all the Blood Angels are divided in small groups and every player takes some 'Teams'. So if you have 6 players, each player has a Team of 3 Termis (the teams are set in stone... you can't mix-and-match). If you play alone, you control ALL the Termies. Now, you set up a 'board' with cards (events) and try to get to the 'exit' based on the Scenario you decide to play. You could even use models (instead of cards) to mark where you are. I found that there are some 'game mechanics' issues with the Genestealers... I put my designer hat and created some house rules that fixed the problems, but I forgot to write them down (I just finished releasing TLRB v0.6.0 so I was SUPER sick of writing rules down! ) It is a great game... I have been looking for it to buy it. | |

| I am MUCH anticipating this from Fantasy Flight...... They just did a large demo at GenCon recently
X-Wing Tactical Space Combat
I played the x-wing sim for PC when it was out in the early 90's (granted I was only 8 at the time of its release). I have always loved the Star Wars series, and even own many of its novels. This game combines the best of the Star Wars universe with table top gaming......all a geek could ever need.

| Fantasy Flight also got the IP for doing the new Star Wars RPG after Wizards of the coast decided they where not making enough money from it and let it go last year. | |

X-Wing was a great game! But I think I liked the Tie Fighter game even more, it was great to fly a Tie Bomber and bomb that rebel scum!

| Or even better: X-Wing vs. TIE-Fighter! ;D But seriously, X-Wing Alliance was the best. As much as I loved the older games, XWA was... AMAZING. Who else used godmode to win the Death Star level? | |

$5GBP for the Card box set, expansion pack, and some extra Space hulk tokens, for the price it would cost me to just buy the Starter box set here in New Zealand. As for the Space Hulk board game i got it here in NZ the guy emailed me I should have it by Monday; Tuesday at the very latest. All miniatures glued and cleaned [not painted] doors set up and everything removed from the card sheets. So all I got to do it unpack it and I can have a quick game. I bought 5 Space Hulk Genestealers off Ebay some time ago as I really liked the look of them so can't wait to get the rest and paint them up. Not sure if I'll keep the Marines. I am mainly after the tiles, blips and doors for me to play test FiCQ [Fighting in Close Quarters] but then again I may keep them [they are nice minis]. Cheers LGW

| Great buys - you'd probably get your money back selling the marines separate on ebay if you didn't want them (beautiful minis though - some of GWs best) Space Hulk was the best thing that GW have released in ages (why they made it a limited run I don't know). Maybe blood bowl and a few other specialist games will get the same treatment. Some nice shiny Necromunda minis would work great for death squads. I did hear a rumour (so heap salt on it) that GW were going to do something new along these lines, most likely 40k based. GW supporting specialist games? yeah right! LGW please give us a review of the card game when you get the chance - cheers. Laney | |

Laney Last Rumour I heard [just before I quit playing bloodbowl after many many years at it] that they were going to re-release the game this either xmas just gone [which they obviuosly didn't do] or try for this xmas. do a limited run like the Space Hulk box with smaller boxes of star players added in. The only bases to this rumour was the amount of C&D letters there were handed out to Forum boards and webstores. in 2010 and 2011. I will be doing a review on the game as a solo game and one with 2 players [a mate of mine who is new to table top wargames wants to play both the card game and board game hoping to convert him to so I can start playing again getting with drawls] As for the Marines I might very well sell them off and keep the genestealers thats all I really want as I'll be using the boards for FiCQ. Cheers LGW

| One of my first GW game was Blood Bowl - I'd be first in line to get a new Blood Bowl set (particularly if it came with some star players!). Cheers Laney | |

| I played 2nd Edition (the one with the polystyrene 'astrogranite' pitch) and the star players and blood bowl companion extensions - I had Skaven, Orcs, Humans, Chaos (I loved the chaos allstars), Elves. The undead (skeletons - the Champions of Death) absolutely sucked if I remember right. Main teams Skaven and Chaos (allstars) - loved the mutants you used to be able to have. I've got a copy of the latest edition - but no teams to play with! My team was the Maugenheim Titans (Colours - Black (lots of) and Dark Red). Based entirely on the american football team I played in as a teenager (good times!) - the Tiptree Titans. Cheers Laney | |

| I had the same edition! I was in college Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) and we played for the T.A. Championship ... the trophy was a real mug of beer (the T.A. Mug!) that the winner of the game had to chug. Talk about motivation to win! Hehehehe... wonder what happened to that thing. I played Chaos All-Stars. My team colors were maroon and white (the University's colors) and what I remember the most (all is a blur... I won lots of games) was my All-Star Ogryn. His name was "Senob N'Sluuks (Skulls-n-Bones, backwards... I was not good with names) and he had the League's record for 'Most Referee's Killed'! Great times...
I sold all my BB stuff 3 or 4 years ago in eBay. I have nobody to play and I needed some cash.
I just noticed we hijacked the thread! When Arachas sees this, he is going to have a coronary! Hhehehehe
