| Thanks for the kind commentary, Mord! I can't fault you on a late response; re, there are times I miss commenting on posts that I really should have responded to earlier...Narcissus's is one I missed. Of course with moi, it can be racked up to senility. The glow seems to be a favorite touch. It looks more spooky in reality if "reality" can refer to anything I do. | |

| The latest additions are the Evil Doers Faerie Familiar (from Reaper) & the Vampiric Person's Flunky (from Masquerade)...I'll bet you can tell which is which, but I'll identify them to be sure: The Faerie Familiar: The Funky Flunky: Comments & critiques would be WILDLY appreciated. | |

| Hmmm... how tiny is the fairie? Her eyes look weird. Igor, on the other hand made me CACKLE out loud! GENIUS! Love the red scarf! | |

| Thanks, Mord..glad you like (sort of) them. The Faerie Fiend is 16mm to the top of her evil little head. | |

| Very nice. I like the one with the ripped shirt the best. You could do a fun werewolf hunt scenario with all of these wolves. | |

| Thanks, Narcissus...glad you like them. I thought the ripped up shirt looked kind of like a torn dress; ergo, she became Miss Kitty after the character from Gun Smoke. I'm going to get the Chaos in Carpathia Rules; they have Gangs of Were Creatures which leaves some doubt as to who is hunting whom...or something like that. | |

| WOW! Deaf... these are WONDERFUL! You manage to capture a sense of horror WITHOUT being gory (which I personally hate... few exceptions.) Miss Kitty... GREAT! Very 1940's Classic Horror. You demonstrate your dominance of the brush with every model. I'm HONORED you are sharing pics. Guess who showed up? The Eldest Mordling... - Quote :
- Me: Hey, Valeria! LOOK! Deaf painted some cool stuff. QUICK! Take a look! You like them?
Valeria: Uhhh... what are they?
Me: Warecats... maybe were kitties. You know, like werewolves, but with kittens.
Valeria: I would like them better if they did not looked like space dogs.
Me: SPACE DOGS? WFT?!? This are AWESOME! You are crazy.
Valeria: Don't get me wrong, the paint is great. Two thumbs up... way up. But they look like space dogs. {cackles and walks away}
Me: You are the spawn of the devil! THEY ARE CATS!!! AND BAD CATS AT THAT!
Valeria: {continues to cackle from the other room}
Me: Yeah... you better leave! They are cats... At least she likes your painting.

| Thanks for the kind comments,Gatlag, Mord & Valeria! I'm glad you liked them...The Girl has a point; while Miss Kitty & Grey are fairly feline looking, the Black Cat could pass for a Werewolf if he had a tail. AND I'm delighted to have such a friendly place to show off my creations...such as they are. | |

| As threatened, I present The Dog Boys (West Wind Dogs by Blow): Like their Cat Associates, The Dogs are the results of strange experimentation ala Dr. Moreau: Group Shot: As always your comments & critiques would warm an Old Man's heart. Since the weekend is not an optimum time to post photos if you'd like a response, & I finished the Canine Crew on Friday, I started puttering around with an old Reaper Ghost I had based awhile ago. This is the result: The Spook: In the Dark of the Night: AS always your comments & critiques would warm an Old Man's heart. | |

| Ace models as always Deaf! I like the first set of were-creatures better, not because of the paint jobes, but I just like the poses better.
Personal favourite - The black cat.
Now with this sort of inspiration, if coolminiornot did an ace gothic horror based miniature game as a kickstarter about now, I'd be down another $200 in an instant.
Keep it coming Deaf - sorry I've not posted recently (this thread is ALWAYS great value)
Cheers Laney | |

| Anyhow, about the models... First impression is that they were 'weird' werewolves, because I never thought about 'dogs'. The poses are OK, but it is the painting and the basing that puts the models into another ubber-cool category. The doggies are very cool. I like the one with the stripped pants... he has a BEARD!!! . The spook... WOW! It is GLOW IN THE DARK!!!! The minimal light on the last picture... ohh, man! When it comes to painting, you Sir, are one scary man! Incredible. I would second Laney's comment... your threads may not be related but (at least to me) they are THE best part of the forum. Sorry... I'm a fan! Hmmm... gothic horror board game. WOW! Great idea Laney! | |

| Again, top notch models.
Werewolves are great but the Spook is my favorite.

| These are not those Bonnie & Clyde; they're Lead Adventures Steampunk version of the duo. So with out further ado....it's too early in the day for that...here they are: The Dashing Clyde: The Less-Than-Photogenic Bonnie: I think see looks like Angela Lansbury: AND the Group Portrait: Your kind replies as always would be welcome...kind of. | |

| Thanks for the kind word, Gatlag. I'm glad you like him; there'll be quite a few more Steampunk types going up...mostly Wyrd & West Wind. I did a touch up on Bonnie, but she's one of those pieces that looks good in person & horrible in photos...c'est la vie, eh?! | |
