| I had to do something again, being away from the hobby for months. I found some tomato-cans and thought I'd whip something up, and try out some rust effects and chipped paint with my air-brush (which broke!!!). I'm happy with the result so far, and I only need to make the contents of the lower container with some icky water (I'll take a good look at Narc's pieces). I'm sorry the lighing is so crap, but I do not have better lamps at the moment... Here they are: Coments and critisism are greatly appreciated =) | |

| Well, I have no WiP's for this one, but I think I'll make a new one when my AirBrush has been repaired...
There are some things I would do different and try some other techniques =)
EDIT: and I just made a site for my terrain and mini's. It's found here: www.facebook.com/simplepaint
In Denmark we use facebook extensively - how much do you use it around the world?

| Facebook is very popular here in Canada, but the popularity is on the decline a bit.
For water, I use Woodland Scenics water effects. It is alright. Doesn't dry hard though. For something simple and that looks like goo, I would just paint the bottom and then add some layers of white glue mixed with green paint.
Good to see you making terrain again. Makes me get the itch a bit...

| looks like 2 soup cans one cut in half and some bendy straws to me if my terrain building eye serves me right. Could be a pringles can cut down though looks short though.
some card board for the metal plates or styrene. octogon styrene bar cut down for the bolts.
looks amazing komfritten as usual.

| OH! I just found out I had not shared this yet! I'm extreemely happy with this piece and it have allready seen som combat action! It's 98% done (need some detail work, which surely never will be done) I've paintbrushed the dirt and walls the old skool way with a heavy wet-and-dry-brush. And airbrushed the rest. | |

| Very nice. I especially like the airbrushed metals and the glowing slime coming out of the pipe. Looks like a very playable piece. Did you paint it in pieces or did you airbrush the cans while it was already assembled? | |

| Ok started up on my 40k board, which I plan to use for 40K an DS both. This will be a little bit of showcase, with a WiP and tutorial feel. This is a view of the board (size 120cm x 180 cm. Each segment is 60x60cm) Here's some close-up's of the sketchs I plan to build on: On the four segments there will be a hill (just like the GW one): I cut out the hill with my old and trusty hot-wire-foam-cutter build from model train adapter and scrap metal. I put on some glue, and spread it out evenly making shure the edges was well covered (very important): I just use ordinary PVA glue (this is quite expensive, but I just needed some in a hurry - can find equally good alternatives everywhere). Apply preassure and wait: This is what I got today. Hopefully I will get some building done tommorrow when the little goblin sleeps. | |

| The board looks great, cant wait to see more What do you use (in danish please) and where do you get it from (again, where in Denmark) ?? It looks like styrofoam (flamgo), but it looks like the "bits" its made from is smaller then the styrofoam im normaly is seeing. Also, the pink stuff I often see people use, do you know what it is and where to get it ? (again in Denmark) -Skavenslayer | |

| @ Skavenslayer (sorry to the english speaking people) Det er bare flamingoplader jeg bruger til selve pladerne. Its just ordinary styroforam from a Silvan or Bauhaus. I use some finer foam for my smaller, more detailed pieces. I also use some foam-plates coated with paper for walls etc. The shops are of no use outside DK | |

| Wow! This is incredible. I can't believe I missed it. The texture looks great. I love the stepped hills. It is fantastic how well your other piece fits into it. Great job! | |

| A 40mm objective counter. THe oil barrels are casted from some GW barrels I found in a bit-box. I'm pretty happy with the result. | |
