makes my home made one look like a kids done it....
Will be printing this lot off tomorrow and using on our first game on Wednesday night...
will glue it to some foam board....still working on some other btz and pieces.
I'll also post some more sites that have somegood range of tiles.
I also found this great site that offers pdf files for basing your minis withgenerated textures. [eg,battlefield, bloody corridor etc etc.]
http://www.onemonk.com/Bases.html
anyone else found tiles that are worth printing and a FREE????

| Hi All,
These are mostly fantasy examples (for D&D), but several would be useful for 40k/death squads, others good for mordheim (with a little dirtying up). They are free and very good quality (I've got them downloaded - but never got around to building them). It includes a mausoleum, gatehouse, city walls, graveyard, tavern, some textures etc.

If the link doesn't work (it's usually 50:50 for me), just search for foldup paper models dandd and it should be close to the top of the search.

| Just remembered - went to check it out... RPGnow are a good company for all sorts of downloadable resources with a number of free samples of cardstock terrain (real variety of quality though) Worth a look if you don't mind trawling through all the free stuff! http://www.rpgnow.com/index.php?free=1&filters=0_0_0_0&sort=xa&page=2&language=en You need to register to download though. I got this little cardstock model for free from there - it took around 20 minutes to complete - It's from a company called Microtactix (I might buy one or two of their other bits to see what they are like. | The terrain is great... unfortunately it got out-staged by the model. WOW! You though I was ot going to see your IG-Necron conversion?!?! THAT IS INSANE MAN! That is THE coolest IG I have EVER seen. Those should be my Jenkalas. YOU ARE A BAD MAN... twisting my puny mind to your evil conversion will! Wish I had time... Thanks for the picture (ruining my day... I can get the model out of my head!) and sharing. It makes a GREAT difference! | |

| Thanks for the compliment on the necron/IG.
I have to say it wasn't my idea - I copied from a guy on one of the 40k forums, who did a whole stormtrooper/daemonhunter army this way, with truescale grey knights (I think he even did truescale terminators)

was hard enough to find white foam board let alone trying to find black. I can spray paint them black but will need to cover up the printed floors as I have built the walls around the boards I had already made. mmmmm I guess it will have to be spray painting them still can't find any wall images.... | Hi LGW,
I know you posted a while ago - but you might find something useful on the Wizards of the Coast website - they have an archived article with loads of buildings in pdf format. Most are mordheim/medieval - but you might find some suitable wall textures in there. They are pretty good and free (can't beat that!)
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fpm/archive
The Mausoleum particularly looks like it might fit 40k well.
