Well I found another Kick starter project I couldn't pass up and to be honest these would work well for Death Squad gang, Future War Commander Skirmish or even use the free rules that they have given us. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1990654819/judge-dredd-miniatures-game-block-war

I have pledged for $60USd and I get 2 boxes of my choice from the following:



Plus If there are any more box sets added [eg get unlocked we can choose them as well]

The current Goal of $10,000 is for the Dark Judges, Death, Fear, Fire and Mortis, plus they have two new boxes coming, Zombie Mistress with a zombie horde, and the Citi-def force both of these sound great.

One other thing the $60 pledge includes POSTAGE world WIDE!!!!

NO! Not that one... the new one. The one that seems to be just plain bloody and be very dark.



Anyway, this range of miniatures was out for long time (I remember them from when I moved to Tennessee back in 2004)... has a cult following. Seems OK... for $60... but the trick (as proven by Zombicide and Sedition Wars) is to get people to commit to the $100 range, feed them a bunch of free models and get them to buy some more. Most pledges have a $150 tolerance. To get the really good package with TONS of extras is $300! Also, the goal was set very low... at $2,000. I understand that the range already exists, but if they have set the goal at $5,000 they could had created a better $100 package (2 boxes, the tank plus extras).

Personally, I have not been impressed with their sculpts... I have pondered about buying some Judges, but nothing major. Maybe I would get couple boxes... but they need better pics of what they have. AND some better paint job of the models... those Fatties look stupid.

I agree with Mord - they need a $100 'sweet spot' for me to consider pledging. ABC Warriors and Stronts would be nice too. The sculpts are ok, but this could really benefit from McVey quality sculpts.

I will still watch with interest, but this months budget is likely to be splashed on Dreadball if anything at all! (as I am skint anyway!)

just anounced that if they get to $30k they will add in the ABC warriors and also Rogue Trooper,southern and Nort soldier to the Wally, Council and chief Judge pledge levels.

they also added in the Pat wagon to the Wally level. This is a great group for playing DeathSquads as the ABC warriors could be used quite well. plus of the ABC warriors are popular they'll make Mek-quake in resin.

Something important... They need to post PICTURES of the models on their KS! Right now, if you don't know what they are talking about, you can't see anything... thus no excitement!

They keep moving... slowly but steadily. Unless they make a nice "tempting" $100 package I won't pledge. Also, the lack of pictures of what are each faction BOTHERS me.

Last info I have is he is waiting on the Greens to be done and then he'll post much like he did with the Lawmaster.

Also I believe there is a few different poses for Dredd I want him to show us each one as well. As if you add Dredd you'll get a random version unless you tell him the one you want.

I have done another post on the KS site to see if I can get a response

I am torn between getting Dreadball or upgrading my current Wally Squad Judge level to the Council Level: the thing I am trying to find out is if I can have the packs sent to other addresses then just mine will update once I know. [eg if any one here is keen to add to my pledge or take some of the burden then let me know. this is being shipped for free world wide.

not sure which story arc they will be from but these are the following ABC warriors in the box set:
Hammerstein, Deadlock, Joe Pineapples, Mongrol, Mars Steelhorn, and Blackblood.

plus a Resin Mek-Quake will hopefully be coming out as a future goal.

Nemesis won't be out during this KS project [foo-ee] but I am hoping there will be a future KS for him and Rogue Trooper.

I may add more Souther and Nort troopers if the option comes up.

Maybe - but I'll most likely buy something after the kickstarter - I'm getting very interested in Infinity at the minute. I must find a FLGS to actually play at - damn GW on every corner in the UK!

On the ABC warriors - it needs Morrigan, Ro-jaws and maybe the girl who thought she was a robot (I forget her name) - Mars Steelhorn is a little old school even for me!

I wonder if anyone has ever considered ABC warriors or Strontium Dog for a proper film?

I am going to try and make a Dredd card for Zombicide.

Quite a hoard my friend... pretty cool, indeed!

I'll post pics as the stuff arrives I should be getting most of the basic Judges, the two Dredds, the extra bitz like the Zombie Misstress, Desperado, Pyro-girl pretty soon as they are already on thier site...

its the likes of the ABC warriors, and the Demonic Cabal as I have seen no greens of them but have seen the start of the Dark Judges [both Death and Mortis] and the Citi-def greens look fantastic.
