| Looks like my sons of Russ will be getting some love after all. Managed to lurk him in while busy with my prisoner. Here is a WIP of a Greyhunter The trim of the shoulder pad is going to be bronze, I am heading out to buy one tomorrow, from the Vallejo series, their metal colours are toxic and need something harsher then water for the brush, but my room-mate bought some of theirs golds and they are absolutely out of this world gorgeous. The whole idea for the colour scheme came from the front cover of the new space wolves book. As I felt it captured what I like about them better then almost baby blue and yellow, and expect to see a lot of helmets as well, many of the faces are down right horrible, I'm more of a helmet guy... | |

| Actually, the GW metallics are a better quality then the vallejo series, because Citadel uses a finer grain for the metallic paint. But if you are going to go the route of vallejo, I suggest using there glaze medium and mix that within the paints as well. It gives the metals that extra sparkle when the light hits them. | |

| Well I think there are several Vallejo metallic series, cause the ones my room mate brought home are in big glass bottles, and I find it hard to believe that they are not better quality then GW's, but I have heard that Vallejo's metal colours were utter shiat, he was told that this kind he bought, are the ones professionals were using when restoring old antique frames for pictures, you know the big golden ones. | |

| Sadly no more pics right now, I am a completely lost when it comes to sticking with making an army, I get an idea, roll with it focus on it with everything for some time, then move on. I've become so much better though, and I will get even better, I should finish my nidz army, but we shall see! OH I just realized you might want more pics of the same model, I can do that, but no work has been done on it since. | |

| Im actually a huge fan of the range of the metallic paints from Folk Art crafts paints.
Though i will say the silvers from GW are great. | |
