| ok guys what do you all think of these figs? Imperial Guard or Adeptus Arbites? [the open helmet deffinately looking like AA helms] Servitors??? I got the arm pack and was planning on using them as my servitor arms. [flamer and heavy stubber] Sniper: very delaque.... Female Imperial Guard troops: these have the elite, cadets and worker versions and as for weapons you can get the HMG,flamer, grenade launcher. so suitable for Imperial guard. anyone else got any great non-GW minis that could be used for ? Cheers LGW | |

| the trenchers are ok....the gangers/aliens are a bit bland and the great coats like the trenchers don't have many poses or range....
but the MUTANTS are awesome a great nurgle chaos cult in the making.....
Also like the zombies could be added to the mutants to make a really nice nurgle themed force.

| The Trenchers and Great Coats seem to have two bodies and two arm sets; that makes for four individuals... add heads and you should be able to get six or eight, without much effort.
Considering you only need ten to twenty men, total, for a Death Squad, I think they'd work just fine.

| I did like the "Troll Forge" Commander... did remind me of a RT captain. The rest of the Great Coats didn't quite jump at me, but with a head swap, I bet they'd be a lot more expressive. The mutants are great (and would make amazing Scavvies!), but are too expensive for me. If I'm going to pay $60 for a squad, I might as well buy the official GW ones! | |

| plus add on postage and its not really worth it.
thats the biggest issue I have there are some great figs out there but postage to New Zealand kills the deal for me.
Will keep on looking to see what other great ranges are out there.

| Found these... has anyone seen Void 1:1 by Scotia Grendel Chaos Cultists ??? Adeptus Arbites ??? Imperial guard/gangers Catachans??? The only issue I got with these is the scale 25mm.... and the price. for a 5 pack of marines your looking at $8GBP/$11.84USD/$16.95NZD not sure if its worth it for 25mm scale that may or maynot be suitable. don't get me wrong they have some really nice figs and scenery that could work well for I'd just like to have seen a scale comparison... | Wow, I love some of the female models... not just because they're fun to look at*, but because GW has so FEW female models... and most of the ones they do have are inhuman looking (like the Dark Eldar), or hard to convert (like the Sisters of Battle.) A bunch of female Catachans would be an awesome edition to the group. Although, with the female cats you jut posted, I can easily see them being used as female arbites too. Just paint them in black, maybe add a few shiny things and some slight shoulder pads, and you have an enforcer. If anyone on that site would make a good Arbites, I suggest the Junker Legionaires- they even have shotguns! - Or, for the power baton / peace keepers, try these guys ... I'd swap the heads. Likewise, Rogue Traders crew, and RT officers ... several other "great-coat" wearing models in the VASA line. Some slightly more modern Death Korps Some SICK mutants Not sure if I'll order any online, but I'm definitely seeing if there are any at my local store. *(I try to be a gentleman, but I have my weaknesses too). | |

| will they look right against the other GW range?
eg 25mm Vs 28/32mm
thats the only thing holding me back from ordering any of those Void 1:1 figs....

| GW's scale is weird; nominally 28mm but with a slightly out of proportion broad and squat look to most... Not to mention catachan with arms the size of power armored marines, truly bizare female anatomy, and (of course) space marines being greatly out of scale.
In general, for game purposes, most of these should be close enough. Maybe slip some thin card spacer under their feet, but you should be good. It also helps to use multiple figs from the same range. One fighter will look short, six will just make that kinda fade away.

| I might have a look again on there for my Imperial renegade squad and a Slaanesh cult one... want to make something different....
going to use some of SoB for officers in the CC squad and flesh them out with gimps. make it some kind of hedonistic group.
Cheers LGW
keep them coming guys its great to see that there is alot of other minis out there for us all to use.

| My box of minis has been short good female figures. We run a group of Inquisitional acolytes. We have several female players. One is the progeny of death cult assassins (my wife's character "Isamaie") and another is a Sister of Battle non-militant (hospitaller). Another is a feral warrior woman with sword and whip. It would be nice to have some to use in the game. I think Nightslip would be good. I've seen it painted at "Coolminiornot" Though I would with less skin, probably nearly black pants. | |
