| well after seeing all of the Kroot on here I thought I'd unpack my Krotox and set him up, then start on the Kroot hounds, etc etc... but was I in for a rude awakening. The Krotox I got off ebay had some issues with lining up the Krotox body, in doing so one of the Kroot legs broke off the main Krotox body and then to rub salt into the wound the other one broke off as well. to say I was about to throw this miniature hard against the wall was an understatement but I took a deep breath and counted to 100. by the time I had done that, I was rummaging through my bitz box to see how I could "FIX" it up...well he it is. Still have to add a harness that will connect from each of the support rods. will paint the armored parts copper/bronze, pick out the trophies around his seat in the appropriate colours. not sure what skin colours for the Kroot and Krotox. but its early days. at least I can field him now. Not sure if I want to get another one of these minis again thought. well thats all for now... Cheers LGW | |

| ech... atleast Your gun barrel is mostly straight. I also had huge problems with basicly put the whole krootox together, but patience and a lot of sandpaper / greenstuff / force made it possible. However theres still places on him where i don't wanna look | |

| not yet trying to get my orks finished, [getting the final details done on some vehicles], paint my eldar, and decide if I want to keep the three CC squads i have. [they were bitz box project but I really want to make them up using other types of figs] so I guess i got three squads that could be up for grabs sell or trade etc.
Will let you know. as for the above krotox have sold him as they are not in the list and have decided to go for the vulture heavy list.

| I've been thinking about the chaos cultists myself and wondered how easy it would be to build a leader of each mark with a (relatively) generic set of chaos undivided recruits/officers, so i can swap the mark(s) for different battles. Or should I just build one squad of each type (that will take me months/years to complete).

Ta Laney well you could buy my three squads and repaint them. add a bit of GS and you would turn them into a great collection... hahahaha Cheers LGW | |

| Sorry, I missed this thread. Nice work. I am beginning to like the Kroot more and more.
I have finally learned to give the recruits two hand weapons and not ranged weapons so when then can get into HTH they can gain that bonus.
