May i present to you: Golfahg. The biggest, meanest guy in the city of Vakinian.
Made from an WHFB Ogre, an old Ork Bolter, Ork shoulderplates, Marauder shield and a bit of Green Stuff.
When I signed up for the event i made two models and this was the one I liked the most. Fun to paint and VERY fun to model
WiP - Unpainted
Final Model
WiP - Unpainted; Other angles
Hope the mystery recipient will enjoy him.
Cheers

dam those pink bunny slippers are scary....
what do they add to him:
The model now causes fear.
the model now causes stupidity on enemy units due to them laughing
Enemy models suffer -1 to hit in close combat due to being distracted by said pink slippers.
enemy units suffer from frenzy as they are now jealous of said pink slippers.
great work I am certain they will be proud to showcase such a great mini.
Cheers LGW

HA HA HA HA HA HA
Sounds like a HG special character
@02laney; It's so simple it's almost embarrising. Deneb Stone a heavy wash of Badab Black. I planned on highlighting it after but it turned out really pale and dirty.

mudboy: I laughed so loud that I got scowled! HAHAHAHA!!! That is AWESOME! I definitely buy a model like that!!!! You my friend, are a GENIUS!!! I like that the Ogryn is all dark, muddy and gritty... but his slippers are immaculate! I can actually picture him cleaning his slippers after every battle, and his 'friends' avoiding him... so they don't get them dirty by accident and pay the price....
The coolest thing is that WE (the community) understand the 'reasoning' behind the bunny slippers... and we all know in which dark corner of the galaxy the legend was born. In Mudboy's corrupted mind! Thanks for sharing!

what did you use to make the gore parts in your blood. Im guessing you used tamiya clear red for your blood but what made it chunky?

It takes a MIGHTY TOUGH Ogre to go to war in bunny slippers; also a rather strange mind to come up with the idea...you're my kind of Guy, mudboy...mostly. VERY CREATIVE & EXTREMELY WELL DONE!

Mudboy: Just Dheneb Stone and Black Wash? Looks superb (a whole squad that colour would look ace) - gonna have to try that. It defintiely shows the effectiveness of washes on a mini.

Thanks guys
The gore is Blood Red, PVA glue and sugar for the chunky stuff. After that I used the old Red Ink for the shiny effect.

Thanks guys.
I had a lot of fun doing this guy and was actually a little sad that I had to send him away. But hey, I can make another one!
I was thinking about doing a tutoral on the gore thing but it will be with pictures as I don't have have a videocamera. It will have to wait some time as I just go back home from Roskilde Festival and my head feel's several sizes to small. I went to 26 koncerts in four days and had waaay too much beer Major hangovers!!!
