Prisoner recieved! LGW -> TBK

First off, I am sorry for this belated reply. I am just back from my summer holidays. But what a way to beat the post holiday blues! Luckily my neighbour took the parcel in so I didn't have to wait till the next day to go to the post office to collect. I'm charging my camera batteries just now, they ran out on holiday, so i'll (hopefuly!) have pictures later today. Meanwhile, let me try and describe what I have recieved.

So after sending 1 model for my prisoner exchange, I wasn't quite prepared for the size of this piece. I was so excited that I left all my holiday bags in the hall (much to my wife's displeasure) and ran like a little boy into the lounge and began ripping the box apart. Good packing, everything was in individual blisters for safety. Not a bent or broken part to be seen. Also, this meant more wrapping to rip off and leave on the floor!

The board was first to get opened. Its a 1' x 1' square board with amazing terrain features on it. This thing has it all; rocks, grass, stones, a river. And it all fits together so well. I especially like the silicon river!

The models are brilliant as well. Not one of them is a standard games workshop miniature. Also, they fit into their own places on the board, with matching terrain!

I can't do this piece justice with words, so I'll post pics when I can.

Thank you so much LGW for all the time and effort you put into this. Good things deffinately come to those who wait!

You have no idea how much I OCD'd on this project.

It was my first attempt at making a large base
It was my first attempt at using "water Effect" [which is the one main reason it took so long]

The minis were fun to do and as for non-GW it was my main plan to do it that way. I am NO GW fanboy.

I may not play DS any more but I know how it works and what to do with a squad. Plus I enjoy kit bashing rather then ordinary minis that look the same.

At least now you can say you've got a GreyWolf Original.
