Honestly? I don't see the use. You get a couple of MDF boards, some paint... voila, game boards. I've got like four standing around: one side painted grey, the other green.

Sounds like a lot of money, for something you can easily fix yourself.

Sorry, don't mean to be a critic, haha.

Yup you may we be right but there are some guys who have no clue,skill or time to make their own this KS would be for those guys.

for me I have barely enough time to Paint minis and the idea of painting and making up terrain is to me like cheating on my minis.

So I do like the quicker option yes its more expensive but its what we choose to do...

Saying that I haven't pledge on this project and not sure if I will just thought some of you guys might like to..

I'm like LGW - terrain is cheating on your miniatures. I like dioramas, but the kind of generic terrain you need for skirmish games holds little interest for me. Buying in options is the preferred route for me (and I'm happy to agree to disagree with anyone on this).

I'll watch this product with interest - It would make a great base for terrain and Deathsquads games (with some pre-painted or card terrain on it).

Comments: Your initial goal is a touch high and may put people off putting their money in though.

I've just pitched in for the Kingdom Death: Monster kickstarter so my monthly fund is empty, but if I could ebay some bits then maybe I could chip in to this as well.

Much appreciated. Right initial goal level 40k (GBP). We actually bought the machines to inject all the plastic so we control manufacturing. The machines are expensive, Some of the goal not all of is to pay a part of that investment off, but we have already invested allot into them and it was the best move as we can give you real prices.

We only need.... and it's looking like 400 pledges to meet the initial goal. Another 400 will add gaming trays to the board. So we hope with great gaming community and help we can get there. We will also be doing more videos on our kickstarter products. We just published another short video showing the integrity of the boards under extreme metal weight of models.Will be able to link that once we get permission via the forum in 7 days.

But most of all thank you for your support in this endeavor. We really want to be able to get these great gaming boards to your homes. There is allot more to them to come.
