| The Mordiand are ALL about shooting. Officers increase the fire-power of the Infantrymen (FIRING LANES allow them to re-roll to-hit!)... and you Squad is not taking advantage of that IMHO. You can play them like that, but it is like playing a shooty Catachan Squad. My suggestions... - Maximize your Officers! Get that extra Sgt... it translates into more treasure AND increase firepower to the Infantrymen.
- Drop the Dum-Dums... not needed at early campaigns. Save the cash.
- Drop the lasguns and get autoguns. Those 8 credits a piece will get your more Infantrymen.
- Get rid of the Ogryn. I know... they are cool! But you need Infantrymen! He is worth 4 guys!
- Get rid of the HWS... you need more Infantrymen!
- Get rid of... gulp... the Medic. You need... you guessed it, more Infantrymen.
- Get MORE Infantrymen!
- Arm your Infantrymen with an Autogun.
By changing those units, you could get 6 or 7 more armed Infantrymen. By placing them in 'formations' (pack together) with Officers nearby (within Blast Templates) you get re-rolls to-hit, Dangerous Ground Test and Fear Tests. Put your units high (so you shrug off Target Priority) and watch your enemy DIE from a far. AFTER the Campaign gets rolling, get the Medic (insurance), a Flamer (to burn those who get close) and that Ogryn (personal bodyguard!) Hope this helps! | |

| ok will do mordheimer thanks for the help now i'll have to get painting i have a old school ratling who could be a seargant  and the "glourious" 85th could definetly use a kleptomaniac midgit | |
